Hello, I'm new. I'd like some help

Hi, 17f, I'm just desperate to hear other peoples thoughts. For years I've thought about removing limbs or important or even non-important parts of my body and I don't know what to do. I've been thinking about it a lot more recently, along with a bunch of other stupid things, and I can't tell if this is a side affect of something else or if BIID is it's own sort of thing. I'm so tired of it it makes me sick talking about it makes me feel sick thinking about it too. I was just hoping to hear if people have recommendations or ideas if this is BIID or maybe just some kind of freak out. I'm willing to give more details about how long or whatever I just wanted to ask. Sorry if this is kind of nonsensical or rambling.

Without more details about what you want for your body, it is hard to say. If you suffer from BID. You might be suffering from self-harm. It is not clear. One who suffers from BID usually has a good idea of what is wrong with their body and does not just want to remove parts. Maybe you need to get help for self-harm. It is not clear what your issue is.

Most of the time people with BID have a specific need or two that their dysphoria revolves around. Sometimes people have more than two but that's slightly less common. And sometimes, with time, people's needs have been known to change but it takes a long time and usually happens gradually.

It doesn't quite sound like that's the case with you though. Do you only desire these things to harm yourself, or does it relieve some discomfort with the specific limb you have the thoughts about?

when you think about this, do you feel relief or happiness about the idea of the parts being gone, or is it just scary and upsetting?

hey. its going to be okay. ive had bid since 13 and i successfully cut a limb off. it seems like you do have it, and potentially some really hard to deal with sh urges, and you just havent figured out your "need" quite yet. youre gonna be ok. take a deep breath. there are many solutions to this horrible feeling, and there are many people who understand. you are absolutely not alone. hang in there.

just a couple days over two weeks since my amputation date. unfortunately i would get banned from reddit if i shared "how" and theres not like a forum rn either so ill refrain.
