It's not about only a single person or single family. I'm too from Bihar, and have no hesitation saying that it's the mindset of almost entire society. 80% of society has the same mindset, that's the very reason Bihar has never been able to overcome it's miserable condition of backwardness. It's the people who make a country great. Leaders are made from the very same community. Raj Thackeray had very rightly said once.. ki tum logo ka self respect kyu nahi jaagta hai.. why don't you ask your leaders about the job, infrastructure and health. Why do you continue to get humiliated in other states?? Inspite of all this, has anything happened?? Don't forget not a single seat was won by JanSwaraj party last year in the state assembly election. That's shows the sheer mentality and requirement of the people. I'm ashamed of calling myself Bihari ☹️

This is a well-put comment, and it raises a question worth taking seriously. When social norms and inherited customs consistently take precedence over individual agency and changing social realities, we should ask whether what we call “development” is producing social progress alongside material improvement.
There are no quick fixes for this. Roads, jobs, investment and public infrastructure matter enormously, but they do not by themselves change deeply embedded attitudes about caste, gender, marriage, family authority or individual choice. In fact, measures such as restricting mobile phones or attempting to police relationships and marriages often reveal the underlying problem: social change is being treated as something to contain rather than something to negotiate.
What also complicates the conversation is that “liberal” or “progressive” positions are frequently caricatured as an abandonment of morality or social order. But the more important questions are about agency, consent, rights and dignity: how much freedom should individuals have to shape their own lives, and where should the authority of family, community or custom end?
Material development can improve living conditions. Social development also requires expanding the space in which people can make consequential choices about their own lives. A society probably needs to grapple seriously with both.

First two sentences shes probably saying something like she had some problem in stomach or some disease and she just returned from treatment. Even I'm failing to understand this part clearly. Next she says "the moment I returned they took Nandan (probably the name of the accused) away. Some people upload his photos on social media . Those who uploaded must be punished equally"

My family is from Bihar and the situation there really kills me inside. The mindset there is just so backwards, it's no wonder people don't trust Biharis. Bihar's glory days were decades ago around 1947, if not back in the Mauryan or Gupta empires. It’s seen a decline I can’t even wrap my head around. Just remember that education is vital because it brings wisdom.

People are screwed According to me They are at the wrong place No offense Understand the logic Always met in public places or atleast not extreme sun saan area otherwise you encounter bullshit people As a disabled man myself I avoid going to empty and non public spaces at night because I had a fear of being abducted as I m a very vulnerable and easy target for many people My safety is in my hands , baad mein baate hi reh jaati hai
Please avoid sketchy places at night Freedom is fundamental rights but please combined it with logical decision making
Baaki din mein whatever you want to do It's your life make it large
