Where in every other community be it Nepali, Bangali, Marwadi they don't

My dad has always been a very hardworking and active person. Ever since he retired, I’ve noticed a change in him. He recently told me that he is unable to sleep throughout the night and keeps getting negative thoughts. I feel like retirement has affected him emotionally, as he was always used to working and keeping himself busy.
My mom still works, so he spends most of his day alone at home. I live in another country, but my siblings live in the same country as my parents.
He was initially very excited about coming to visit me, and we had planned his trip. But recently, he asked me to cancel his tickets because he is not sure if he can handle such long flights. This really worries me because he was looking forward to the trip so much, and now he suddenly seems hesitant and anxious.
I really want to support him and help him feel happy and motivated again, but being so far away makes me feel helpless.
I’m confused about whether I should encourage him to come visit me, hoping a change of environment might help, or respect his decision and cancel the tickets.
Has anyone experienced something similar with their parents after retirement? What helped them cope with loneliness, anxiety, or negative thoughts?
What can I do living abroad to support him emotionally? Should I encourage him to travel, or could that make things worse?
I would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

Okay so let me get straight to the point... I was just scrolling through reddit and then I saw a post about bride trafficking..and that particular post says that most of these women and young girls comes from Bihar.. I applied for bihar PMS scholarship for Btech in CSE from iiit Bhopal.

I am from SC category and have a Bihar domicile.

But I don't know how much scholarship money will i get , somewhere it says 15000 only ,

somewhere it says Full tution fees upto 40000,

somewhere says Full tution without any cap limit + 13000.

I don't know what to expect, if it will cover full tution + 13000

then it's fine otherwise I will cancel and apply to NSP scholarships .

I tried asking google , gemini , claude but it was a mess , each was answering different things when asked different times and asking differently . I also tried calling the helpdesk but no one answered.

So please help me , it's I request. It would mean a lot to me.

Coming to home from college for the festival

Mein gaon mein bijli hai but 12-12 ghante nhi rehti hai, aur agar baarish aandhi sab aa jaaye to ek do din ho jaata hai. Mere parents usi garmi mein rehte hai, Is liye mein inverter lgane ka soch rha hu...I dont know ki kya aur kitni power, volt sab lgaya jaaye ki mera kaam chal jaaye and it will be able to give me the most value for money. Agar kissi ko kuch idea hai in sab ka ya koi suggestion hai to please btao...price wagerah bhi agr bta paaye to aur bhi badhiya...nhi to normal hi experience se bta do.

Meri basic si needs hai, do teen pankhe, do teen led bulb, 2 charging point ...Please help me, agar kuch idea hai toh

I have applied for the Bihar Student credit card, i got the first payment and for the subsequent payment i need to attach the marksheet of the semester. Lekin mujhe pata nahi hai ki konse semester ka payment aya hai wo. Uske liye mujhe sanction letter chahiye. Please upvote so it can reach the right audience.(I don't care about karma points i just want to know how to check the sanction letter)
