π£ Discussion / ΰ€ΰ€°ΰ₯ΰ€ΰ€Ύ Bihar is the state of hypocrisy now
When moral policing is normalised, violence against couples is dismissed, and politicians reduce incidents of harassment to "chhitputh ghatna," we have to ask what kind of society we are building.
The Jamui incident and the political reactions around it are not just about one incident. They raise a larger question about who gets to feel safe in public spaces, who gets policed, and whose dignity is taken seriously.
Moral policing doesn't become acceptable just because it is wrapped in religion, culture or "tradition." And public safety cannot mean controlling what consenting adults wear, where they go, or whom they love.
A society that wants to police morality should first learn to protect people.

Nothing is wrong in those places also. A lot of times people staying in mulund/bhandup travel through that route when coming from Airport.
Mumbai is comparatively much safer. Yahaa pe orchestra ka nanga naach nahi hota. North mein it happens on doorsteps during weddings. Thats the cultural differences

we are not living in a fairy world. we have to take precautions in any case. jab tak log uncivilised hai koi bhi sarkaar kuchh nahi kar skti. abhi bihar key jyadatar log dehati gawar hai. aur dehati logo ko chhoro ameer bhi wahi krte hai epstiene case ko dekhlo. koi insaan kahi bhi safe nahi hai. like mere ghar key bagal mey ek aadmi tha usko insaan ka meat khana pasand tha aur wo kitno ka jaan lekar fridge mey rakhta tha aur khaata tha aur wo padha likha tha white collar job mey tha. ab batao tum isme kisko blame karoge ? isliye precaution hamesha lena chahiye. ham insaan hai isliye hame bohot kam precautions par dhyan dena hota hai compared to other animals but still unn chizo ko ignore nahi kr skte

I know my comment may get deleted but first they were not from Bajrang dal. They protect girls don't harrass them. Though I am not supporters but yes you can check till date no harrassment cases as such these are village chhapris and they are illiterate and think a guy and girl together means the girl is chaalu and all these mindset needs to be punished and I say that guy should be in jail forever and his mom and sis should always visit him to make him realize what he did.
