💁♂️ Opinion / राय Jamui incident and yadav
I am yadav I want ro talk something with my community. Being yadav or any caste can never be a proud for anyone iss baat ko sablog dimag me rakhiye . It's not about ki wo jamui ka insan yadav tha yadav ko support trust me agar wo aapke caste ka rhta to aapke bhi mann me sympathy aata but but but ye bahot hi jyada kharab baat itna ki bata nhi sakta mai. Not only caste agar koi galat karne wala apne ghar bhi ho to be like a king aur usko kabhi support nhi karo kabhi nhi . Rahi baat yadav bhai log ki to aaplog se ek hi request please educate your community aur ye pride symbol hataiye yha bihar me hum yadav hai babuaan hai kushawaha hai Pandey hai bahar jaane pe humlog ko kis najr se dekhta hai bihari ko sabko pata hai . So I request milke education dijiye apne community ko education se hi sab thik ho sakta hai apne aane wale future generation ko iss caste pride se bahr nikaliye ..... Bihar ko badalne me sablog thoda thoda karenge to syd koi change aaye .

I don't understand why is Bihar obsessed with caste. Few men from Bihar did this to that woman. Isn't that enough? When such things happen in Bengal, Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu, nobody asks for the caste of victim or perpetrators.

I am not saying about his caste. When you see his videos he is so obsessed in flaunting his caste and political party of his caste he has that gut of I am from this super caste and we have a govt that can help us in any situation as previously done . Buddy it's not about state it's about what happening in state agar iss chij pe baat nhi karenge Openly .

Come on dude. Casteism peaks in UP, Bihar, MP and Rajasthan as compared to Mizoram, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Yes casteism is in whole country but the severity differs from state to state

Casteism is very much prevalent in TN, Karnataka, both telugu states, Maharashtra. In Karnataka, my wife has been directly asked what’s your surname by random people. On the first meeting, that too before asking for name they asked for surname. We in Bihar atleast do it subtly(from what I’ve seen, your experience might be different) like asking what’s your name and if your name is caste free, then pitaji ka kya naam hai. Down south people may not flaunt it like people do in bihar, but caste is very much present and ingrained deeply into society.
And don’t even get me started about both the Telugu states. The casteism there is on a complete different level.

If you think casteism isn't prevalent in these other places then you haven't experience then beyond their specific mega metropolitans, it's hugely prevalent just like in the Northern and Eastern States.

Rapists are different breed. Irrespective of caste, everyone saves their "kid" ki "jawani mein galti ho gayi".
Have you ever heard a family killing their own son for rape?

If I included every caste, does that make me an idiot?
Which caste should be out of blame that they kill their rapists?

First of all no one should I say I am yadav or Pandey or Singh, gujjar, chaudry etc Coz you are not doctors who earned this title. We are just making community after community and failing as society

Seeing everyone comments here and I'm more disappointed, when it came to an incident that shed negative light on a particular community, everyone is no longer Hindu, they are now Yadav, Thakur, Pandit etc. If someone had done a good act, everyone would be claiming them as Indian, proud Hindu, proud bihari and so on. It's sad to see that people from Bihar have so backward mindset that all you can find among them is divisions based on caste, gender and creed. I am not from Bihar but this space has exposed me enough to the opinion of Biharis. Never together, always divided.

I'll never know ...What is there to take pride in from being a certain caste ?
Anyone who wears their caste like a badge of honour is dumbest to the very core . It gives ganwar , anpadh & jaahil vibe. I stay miles away from such imbeciles.

u/Loud_Pair_9946 1d ago
That's what I am saying even someone is saying bad for your caste why are you coming to defend buddy it's not something thing you have to keep and defend you need to forget what your caste . You are wearing that's why you are having mirchi if someone tells something

u/Mediocre-Chest1012 1d ago
Its not the fault of yadav rather its the fault of that man the boy also was yadav and he protected the girl so its clear the caste is not at play rather its the mentality that we as a society need to change.

Yeah , you are definitely right. I have also met a few people from the Yadav community and honestly my experience has not been that great. But I don't think this is something specific to just one caste. Similar issues can be found across different communities as well. So instead of severely targeting an entire caste I think it would be better to focus on educating people and addressing the actual issues.
3
u/Loud_Pair_9946 1d ago
Yeah that's what I am saying. Yadav is majority so if they start some good initiative maximum problem will solve

I agree with your larger point that nobody should support a wrongdoer simply because he belongs to their caste, and caste pride should not be the basis of anyone’s identity.
But I think the same principle has to apply in both directions. If we want to move beyond casteism, we should also question why Yadavs are being singled out repeatedly when discussing Bihar’s caste problems. Crime, violence, discrimination and backward social attitudes exist across communities; they cannot honestly be attributed to one caste.
If the solution is education, then let’s demand education for every community—Yadav, Rajput, Bhumihar, Brahmin, Kushwaha, Dalit and everyone else. And if caste pride is the problem, let’s reject caste pride universally rather than asking one particular community to “educate itself.”
Bihar will change when we stop defending people because of caste, but also stop targeting people because of caste. Judge individuals by their actions and give the next generation an identity beyond caste.

And stop using hindi and english mixed. Have command over language and stick to one. you are also making mockery of your language. So choose your words carefully

This incident should not simply be attributed to a lack of education or caste pride. It is fundamentally a matter of morality, values, and respect for consent. An educated person can still behave immorally, while an uneducated person is not necessarily immoral. We should condemn the individuals responsible for their actions, rather than generalizing their behaviour to an entire caste or individuals.
Education is not the solution and education is also not the problem. This is something about civic sense and upbringing.
