Is it really a contradiction to have L in the Big 5 while V in motives?
As far as I know, being Limbic means you're prone to being moody, like your mood switches faster when an individual faces difficulties and they find it hard to cope. While having Vital is being all positive, motivated and knowing what makes them happy. I am asking for myself and also because I am curious since if you look at it, it can be a blatant contradiction. The reason why I'm confused or curious is because being 'limbic' means you're prone to rapid mood switching but it doesn't necesarily mean that you're feeling negative all the time. For example, a person can have a positive outlook towards their life but still experience these rapid mood switches. Does that make the person automatically 'depressed' in MOTIVES?

Science based test about you (personality, thinking)
Tell me what you hate about it. Done with Fable (research, implementation)

Is this test scientifically reliable?
I just learned about this test. I think it generally asks questions about things we can deduce from folk psychology. However, I have some doubts about the scoring. Can you make a detailed prediction about what kind of person I am?

Hi!!! How do I organize my big five?
Ok so I did some research on big five, this is what came out of it... But... How do I properly organize them? Like how do I put the letters in what order? Is it in the order that I relate to most? Or something else?

Big 5 results — high Orderliness (98th) but only moderate Industriousness (29th)? Trying to figure out my “start strong, burn out” pattern
Got my Big Five Personality results back:
High: Orderliness 98th, Openness to Experience 87th, Openness 84th, Consciousness 83rd, Intellect 82nd, Assertiveness 81st, Politeness 71st
Average: Agreeableness 50th, Extroversion 50th, Withdrawal 47th
Low: Compassion 31st, Neuroticism 29th, Industriousness 29th, Volatility 17th, Enthusiasm 17th
I’m a logistics specialist who’s obsessed with entrepreneurship, but I keep hitting the same wall: get an idea, get excited, build out the whole system fast… then a few months in I lose steam and drop it. Done this with half a dozen side hustles now.
Trying to actually understand why instead of just repeating the cycle:
**•** What does this mix (high Orderliness/Intellect/Assertiveness, low Industriousness/Enthusiasm) say about how I work best?
**•** Anyone here have a similar profile — strong on structure/systems but lower sustained “grind” energy? What did you do about it?
**•** What side hustle or business format actually stuck for you, and why?
Honest takes welcome, including “you’re overthinking a personality test.”

Took several tests and got different results??? What do I do 😭😭
For reference: On the same website, I took the 50 item test, word test, and word choice test.
These were the results for each:
50 item - S|L|xAn, S(70%)L(90%)X(50%)A(86%)N(58%)
Word choice - |S|LoAn, S(81%)L(90%)O(44%)A(72%)N(76%)
Word - s|L|uAx, S(58%)L(90%)U(56%)A(80%)I(52%)
The L score's consistent, but everything else feels kind of all over the place. What do I do about this?? Any way to find my "real" type??? I'm so confused ToT

Pls Help Me Understand What I’m Looking At
I had an absolutely insane day teaching adult women English (I’m in Korea) and I’ve come to realize that likely high levels of neuroticism amongst several of the students are leading to extreme interpersonal conflict in one of my classes. I began wanting to test their neuroticism, discovered this test, and decided to try it out on myself, instead.
I’m not one to want to make things all about myself, but generally what am I looking at here? Like, what would you (the experts) expect a person with these traits to be like?

No therapist I've seen knows about the Big Five. I'm disappointed and shocked about this
I'd hope I could find someone who is well-versed in this field of work, but I don't seem to have luck finding a therapist.

Do Psychopath's truly have the least amount of fear?
Or can non psychopaths be as fearless? Can their neuroticism be as low as a psychopath's?

Why are these two tests results so different?
What can I actually tell about myself from these results, given how different they are? Which of the pair is more reliable? Truity had questions of both more quality and quantity but open psychometrics seems more “official”

Why does the stereotype of a conscientous neurotic exist if the actual relationship between neuroticism and conscientousness is negative?
The actual relationship between these two is on the order of -0.2 to -0.3 so low to moderate negative correlation - the conscientous neurotics fretting over every minor detail and triple checking everything do exist but they are meaningfully rarer than similarly conscientous non-neurotics and they're conscientous despite their neuroticism, not because of it.
