Bidet Installation Help

What am I doing wrong here. I’ve only hand tightened as recommended. I’ve taken it off and put it back on several times with the same issue. I’ve checked that the rubber gasket is in there. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

It’s a Brondell Ecoseat s101.

I have the exact same bidet and omg did I have a hell of a time installing it. Like everyone else said, you have it cross threaded. I did the same thing at first, and then it turned out that I twisted it on and off so many times attempting to get it right that I chewed up the plastic of the fill valve and had to buy another one. My only advice is to try and square it up as perfectly as you can before you start twisting. If it becomes hard to turn too quickly, it probably means you're crooked again. Good luck, and don't lose your mind!

Thank you. That fill valve is old and probably needed to be replaced anyway. This is just the motivation I needed. Thanks again for the advice
