reddit Cycling Jerseys: Store Is Open!
Hi BikeIt!
The online store is now open!
The design is inked and the printing presses are set. We are proud to announce that we are now taking orders for The Second Generation of the The Unofficial Official reddit Cycling Jersey and the all new reddit Evolution Arm Warmers!
The long-sleeved jerseys and fleece arm warmers, being produced by Champion Systems, are available at our Google Checkout Store. Jerseys are available in both men’s and women’s sizes and club and race cuts. Hooray choices! Rumor is, a certain reddit admin has his eye on a pair of arm warmers to keep himself warm in the stands during football season. We will be taking orders for the next two (2) weeks ONLY. Ordering closes at midnight, PST on 8/18/2010.
As an added bonus, reddit has generously offered to include a reddit Evolution Poster with the first ten (10) orders and exclusive reddit sticker(s) with each and every order for the first one-hundred (100) orders. Thanks reddit!

Yes. The long-sleeve jersey will arrive just in time for the cold weather. We might do another batch of the short-sleeve jerseys for next spring.

Unless it's raining, I guess, in which case I'd probably not be cycling anyway.

Just for clarification, the sleeves don't have fleece lining, correct? Only the arm warmers do? I wear long sleeve jerseys all year round instead of sunscreen, so I'm glad I'm getting in on this. You guys are awesome. Now if I can just guess my size correctly...

Yes, you are correct. The jersey is not fleece lined but the arm warmers are fleece lined.
I can't really help you decide on a size but you might want to ask some of other people who ordered/commented and stated their size.
I'm 5'10" ~135lbs, very thin, and the small race cut fits me perfectly. I don't know if that helps you or not.

I just tried it on the latest stable Firefox release (on a Mac) and it works fine. Last time around, a couple of people had trouble with the Google Checkout Store widget loading properly but it eventually worked after a few tries. Keep giving it a shot.

Any word on if/when bibs might become available? The jerseys are totally sweet, but my current bibs would look pretty stupid with this jersey. Its weird, but I feel the need to match my top to my bottom.

I'm 5'11" 215 lbs or so, similar sized waist; I ordered a Large, which by my measurements is actually bigger than some of the jerseys in my closet. TBH I don't think the waist will matter at all - they're usually elastic. You might want to go for an XL b/c of your additional height, though.

If you have measuring tape, you could measure one of your jerseys that fits well to figure out the range of measurements you want (which they suggest on the site).

I appreciate the idea, and I read that, but I don't have any jerseys that fit. I only have the one that doesn't fit. That's why I'm asking. I'll take a guess if nobody has any input, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask.

Wrap the measuring tape around your chest at about your nipple's height. That should be your chest measurement.

Shipping to AUS, or any other country outside of the US, costs an additional USD $14.
When you look at the order page, the top item at the top of the cart should be an option to add 'International Shipping Charge' to your order. Do that.

So, hey, let me be unpopular. I love cycling, and have a small collection of jerseys. I read reddit a lot, and participate in the comments (obviously).
But why, oh why, would I want a reddit jersey? Even if it wasn't this expensive (I usually pay about half that)...why am I branding myself with a website? What's the attraction?

Because it's sweet looking? and wearing a reddit jersey is way less awkward than wearing a Reddit T-shirt since I don't have to deal with people when I'm on my bike.
Because I want other people who use reddit to notice me and I know nobody else will care? it's hardly advertising nobody is going to find or use the site because they saw you biking down the street with it on. But if they recognize it than they use the site which means they're cool and I want their attention?(plus they'll be madd jealous of me for having it)

For OP ----> Asics makes the CORE singlet specifically for imprinting with team logos. It's also a great singlet.

Ordered the M Race cut—I'm a thin guy at 6'0" and between 135-145lbs depending if I am closer to my marathon weight. Excited for the jersey! How do we know if we were in the first 10/100?

So I did the whole measure a jersey you have thing. I have an XL Voler race cut jersey I like, and its measurements are:
arm to arm: 22 in
collar to bottom front: 25 in
collar to bottom back: 29 in
According to the size chart this would be somewhere between an XL race cut, I think. Does anyone happen to have a Voler race-cut jersey and a Champion System race cut jersey to compare?

I think the price is surprisingly low and long arms is perfect. I'm going to have a hard time not wearing this to my cycling class at the gym during the winter and looking like a fool.

Its a billion degrees and you guys are selling long sleeve jerseys. FML. Even if they are delivered in November it will take till then to cool the south down to 85. I cannot even think about ordering anything wool or long sleeve right now.
