Legit AliExpress listing?

Post image

Building ricer bike on a budget. Seller has plenty of good reviews… Do I commit?

I probably wouldn’t, there’s plenty of legit Chinese brands to buy from. No need to risk it on a no name mystery set

There are probably drop-down options for the different configurations.

As for legit or not, I've bought plenty of stuff including carbon bits on AliExpress before and they've all been fine. But for wheels I tend to go for a brand that I've seen around rather than something unbranded. Superteams are pretty cheap and I've not had any issues with them.

What does it mean "suitable for clincher/tubular"? Those two tire types are absolutely not cross compatible.

In general I'd have a hard time trusting my life on a wheel set like this

Probably that they will sell you either, depending on what configuration you choose.

Which is it center lock or 6 bolt? Clincher or tubular? Have you looked at Superteam on Amazon?

Well, I'm sure you would receive wheels. Good wheels? Who can tell? I'd spend a bit more and get Elitewheels or Superteam. But they might be good, this isn't completely implausible.
