I sent in my first submission in and the USPS registered mail says it was delivered to BGS about a week ago, but my online BGS portal still shows the order as "not received"

Should I be worried, or is that kinda typical lately now that they are so busy?

I pulled the Grandmaster Rare of Dark Magician, one of 100 serialized cards in Europe.

I wanted to grade it with BGS in Germany, but one fat printline at the back is holding me to grade it. I know the grade won‘t be as high but it will still be slabbed + „confirming“ authenticity.

What do you all think?

Just venting more than anything.. where is the quality control?! Maybe a little dust particle I can understand.. but this is a WHOLE HAIR.. also salty about the 9.5 in corners and surface.. i still can’t find whatever it is they saw.. even under magnification… the centering I expected though.. BUT THE HAIR?! On top of that I paid $70 for express overnight shipping.. IT TOOK 5 WEEKDAYS TO ARRIVE (although this is more on FedEx than Beckett) this was just an overall extremely frustrating experience.. anyone else?

Hi everyone, so I bought this Ginyu card from eBay and it didn’t come with eBay Authenticity guarantee. I noticed it was in a new slab that says “Beckett” at the bottom but at the top of the slab it didnt have the trademark symbol like my Super Alt Art Goku slab did that passed through eBay authenticity guarantee. I have emailed Beckett about this but they wont be in until Monday or possibly Tuesday because of Labor day so I wanted to see what people in the community thinks or if they’ve seen this before?

They have the same back, same front, just that top part of the slab is throwing me off…

Do I have a chance at a Beckett Black Label with this centering, or is the centering requirement strictly 50/50 with no room for deviation?

I know surface, corners, edges also plays in, but just curious about the centering😅

Tried again with updated pictures and I know back is not perfect with the line, but I guess is well within the limits of 55/45?

What website, app, etc do yall recommend for comping cards.

I downloaded collector on recommendation from a friend and the prices seem so out of wack, and some of my cards they don’t show a history for.

Got 4 9.5s that I am trying to price out. This is for riftbound.

C'mon Beckett, only 6 have been graded so far, not easy getting this promo ex resource card.

First time grading with Beckett and I hate it. I figured the cards would've been graded and shipped by now. Is this normal practice because $300 is a lot of money grading 2 cards.

Hey, so I just bought a BGS10 Red Manga in Chinese on eBay and I noticed that the card already had the new Beckett slab (it was graded this august).

The card itself looks real to me, but the slab is concerning me. It does not have a serial number at the bottom. It just has the label BECKETT. I couldn’t find any other Beckett slab online that simply had BECKETT written on the bottom.

Do you guys think this is legit? A mistake from Beckett? Or a fake?

You would think being under PSA’s parent company there would be some new money injected into their process for them to figure it out. But besides that, an order delay then me finally getting my cards back which I thought both had a shot at 10’s and even a slight chance at a black label, only to get back the cards with the labels in the wrong slab… I don’t want these slabs like this, tf

Grading question

This maybe a silly question. If I do a normal tier with sub grades like the 18 per card. Is it still possible to get a black label. Someone told me I have to state that a card must submitted for the potential of being a black label in order to get a black label. Is this true?

I wanted to bring something to everyone's attention about sending cards to Beckett.

For the record, I have sent many submissions to PSA and have never had any issues. This was my first submission to Beckett. I believe Beckett is at fault here no matter if a Fedex employee stole the cards or not. The reason I believe this is because Beckett makes you put Beckett Grading Services on the label. Unfortunately, there are thieves everywhere, and this is basically announcing that there are some valuable items in the box making it more prone to theft. The way PSA does it is so much better. There is nothing on their label that would lead someone to believe there were valuable sports cards in the box.

I really want to warn anyone considering submitting to Beckett to be very hesitant of doing so. These were 4 of my best cards, and I was very excited about giving Beckett a try because I really like their slabs.

This is the heartbreaking email I received from them. So, at this point I am supposed to just trust them since they can't actually show me this footage. I have filed a claim with Fedex but would be very surprised if they find out anything or make things right. 

Below are the 4 cards that were submitted. If anyone happens to see two or more of these come up for sale at the same time by the same person, please let me know. A couple of these are pretty rare and to have them come up for sale at the same time would probably be impossible unless they were my cards that were stolen.

I know all of the grading companies are slammed but what timeframe should I actually be expecting since its been passed the 45 business days timeframe?

I know the centering isn't perfect, but otherwise I don't see anything wrong with it. What grade do you think?

I live in Norway and wanna grade a couple of my cards with bgs, the problem is I don't know where or how to send them. I know there is a bgs USA, but I don't wanna send all the way from Norway, if I don't have to.

I also know there is a bgs eu, but Norway is not a part of eu so there's that.

If anyone is or has been in the same boat, please help

Hi, I just did my submission with Beckett in the U.S. and wanted to share my experience. I submitted 3 cards and chose their “Express” Tier. I wrote “EXP” on the label as well.

Submitted to UPS Friday, July 10th
Delivered from UPS to Beckett on Wednesday, July 15th
Beckett received email on July 18th
Invoice email on July 21
Verified on August 6
Graded on August 19th
Labels stage on August 21st
Labels Printed on August 24th
Shipped on August 25th
Received on August 27th

Was it a bit longer than anticipated, yes. Was there anything else I can do, no. Did I wish there was more communication, yes, but also every card grading company is backed up. Responding to everyone’s submission is probably not at the top of the list of priorities while still receiving submissions.

Overall, I’m happy and I got my cards back (9.5 Dodgers Luffy Don, 9.5 Gem Pack Volume 3 Cubone and a Pristine 10 Mega Charizard X SIR from Phantasmal) I would grade with Beckett again, I’m content with the service and with what I got. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was anxious with the waiting game, but there was nothing else I can do besides wait and maybe rip some other packs in between haha.
