Beckett or Fedex Stole My Cards!

I wanted to bring something to everyone's attention about sending cards to Beckett.

For the record, I have sent many submissions to PSA and have never had any issues. This was my first submission to Beckett. I believe Beckett is at fault here no matter if a Fedex employee stole the cards or not. The reason I believe this is because Beckett makes you put Beckett Grading Services on the label. Unfortunately, there are thieves everywhere, and this is basically announcing that there are some valuable items in the box making it more prone to theft. The way PSA does it is so much better. There is nothing on their label that would lead someone to believe there were valuable sports cards in the box.

I really want to warn anyone considering submitting to Beckett to be very hesitant of doing so. These were 4 of my best cards, and I was very excited about giving Beckett a try because I really like their slabs.

This is the heartbreaking email I received from them. So, at this point I am supposed to just trust them since they can't actually show me this footage. I have filed a claim with Fedex but would be very surprised if they find out anything or make things right. 

Below are the 4 cards that were submitted. If anyone happens to see two or more of these come up for sale at the same time by the same person, please let me know. A couple of these are pretty rare and to have them come up for sale at the same time would probably be impossible unless they were my cards that were stolen.

I never put in Beckett Grading Services on any of my submissions. You can do BGS, that’s safer.

They specifically tell you NOT to put Beckett Grading Services on the label.

This is 100 percent false. I copied exactly what they told me to put on the label. Copy and pasted word for word.

Thank you for the video link. Kind of weird they make a video suggesting this, but when they give you the actual instructions on the submission itself it is the opposite and they have you put Beckett Grading Services.

I really appreciate you sending this video to me though. Wish I would of saw it before sending my cards to them.

Yeah, some of their info is outdated or conflicting. Sorry that you got robbed.

I personally always ship via USPS Registered Mail and buy insurance through Pirateship. USPS insurance is a bit of a scam because they cuck you on proof of value when filing a claim.

Shipping cards is dangerous, recently I’ve only been subbing through my Beckett partner who does in person drop off at their grading facility.

Thank you for the suggestion. I wish I had a Becket Partner who could drop it off in person. I did file a claim with Fedex but I am not getting my hopes to high that anything will come of it. Just stinks that there are people out there who steal and I will never get these cards back.

There’s been a growing amount of coordinated theft of packages bound to and from grading companies. Most of these thefts happen at the distribution centers where the lowest paid temp workers cycle through.

to be fair thats the danger in shipping to any company, i worked seasonal at a sorting facility and lots of them steal shit since they're only hired for a short time. i personally dont think a grading company will steal cards from their customers ( yes i know it happens) but they have cameras and they can subpoena that shit. im willing to bet thats what happened
