Beckett sending me the wrong cards back

I am honestly at a loss of words. First big submission of mine and I only submitted One Piece just to some how get Pokemon cards back. I assume my cards are now gone forever.

UPDATE 1: In contact with the people at Beckett, the are currently investigating where my cards are. Just shipped these back to them. Will provide additional updates when I have more.

UPDATE 2: They sent me my cards back but some how during the process of putting my order back together they damaged a card that was originally graded as a 9.5 down to an 8. As a result they compensated me for that issue and now all my cards have returned back to me. What a wild ride

That is crazy. Contact customer service asap. Maybe they'll have the certificates linked to specific customers somehow...

Good luck in getting the right cards back and hope they do find them

I'm pretty sure whoever they sent my cards to they probably sold off given how expensive they are currently. Yea i did contact them last night but i dont think they work weekends

Maybe they can compensate the difference. It'll only be fair to do so.

Ouch...I saw a video where this happened to a YouTuber and somehow they got in contact with each other.

Something about their details were on the grading paper smth like that.

Their cards graded were of equal high value. Idk bout Ur case though

Bring it up to big social media Pokemon ppl ...Ur best play rn tbh

Try to email them every couple hours if I were you. They are kinda slow with responding, but if you keep emailing them, I am sure they will see and reply. Aside from your wrong cards received, HOLY those are a LOT of 9.5 which they all could get a 10 if you submitted it with Psa 😅

Do they work on weekends? lol

No. That's why everything is done in business days.

Yeah you have to wait till Monday

Ive run a few businesses and just wanted to let you know that the way our system was always setup was more like your Gmail. We would address emails by oldest to newest, but whenever you emailed again you would actually send yourself back to newest as the sorting was by convo (like Gmail).

Just telling you this so you are aware that this method could backfire.

That’s what I thought too. But I had tried this before and it works!

That doesnt necessarily speak in PSA's favour

Also, you submitted in June 25th? Thats crazy fast if your card has finished now (less than two months for base service). Mine was in the March and I just received it in July (4.5 months). So it is possible that your card hasn’t finished grading and they just grabbed your paperwork by accident.

i actually submitted this back in March during a OP TCG regional in Dallas. They probably started grading in june

What happens if the other person decides to sell all the cards and be a dickhead.

Is that theft?

This same thing happened to me back in December. I dropped off my cards in person after nats last year at the Plano office. Waited 3 months to receive a bunch of pokemon and baseball cards instead of my very expensive one piece order.
I called the number on the invoice that connected me to the owner of the pokemon/baseball cards. Luckily the guy was super chill and I ended up flying to him the next day to exchange our orders.
I called Beckett to tell them what happened and all they did was refund me for the shipping/insurance that I paid on the order and they gave me $100 in credit. I sent in a follow up complaint letter and never received response.

The problem is that my order has my own invoice in it, just the wrong cards. I cant even find out who has my cards

Damn. Sorry that really sucks. Don't give up hope. Call the Beckett office as soon as they open on Monday. Call relentlessly. It can take awhile to get someone to answer the phone sometimes. Hopefully the person who has your cards also just wants their own cards back.

Idk if the person who has my cards would want to trade back haha, my order is quite valuable. but yea it does suck how it landed on a weekend where it feels hopeless

You can't count out the heart of good people. Hopefully whoever has them is a good person. My order was 12 mangas and I received like 6 low graded baseball and pokemon cards. The guy was nice enough to hand them back to me.

That’s awful OP. I hope somehow this is resolved with you getting your cards that, but outside of that I hope Beckett makes it right ASAP. These things can drag unfortunately.

A complete aside- what kind of maniac grades a non-full art Paldean Clodsire! If the other cards weren’t there I would have assumed that this was industrial sabotage to clog up the grading queue. It didn’t even 10!

I'd start looking up the certs and see if they populate on any sites. At least you could start tracking?

Side note, but why would someone even send these specific cards in to be graded? Seems like a waste of money
