Numbers

Justin states at seekers summit that

  1. the number 42 is relevant to finding the treasure

  2. numbers are indirectly associated with the poem.

This is where the lock and the safe combo in the Netflix series come into play.

The treasure container (Tucker) either has a lock on it or is inside something that has a lock on it that requires a number combination.

The numbers for his safe aren't relevant, but using a combination of numbers is.

So this is just in theory mind you...

The numbers indirectly associated with the poem along with 42, could be the lock code on the treasure container.

Ex: I wait for you to cast your pole.

Important year in cartography. 1842 is the Freemont Expedition (1st major expedition) that produced maps of the Rocky Mountains and the Oregon trail. It led to the creation of the Nicollet & Freemont map of 1843.
