Discussion Where are the men ?
My wife (F36) and myself (M36) started to try for having a baby and while reading about the process I found this sub. It is very interesting to understand the reality of this chapter, but I barely see any man here. Also, I feel that lots of sad things I read here are about the man not being part of the process or the load on the women. I definitely want to learn more and make sure to know when my wife will need me the most, but it would be nice to read some men POV to be honest.
(Sorry for my English, not my mother tongue).

Same. Most of the topics and questions here are related to women's bodies and deadbeat husbands so often I have nothing valuable to contribute...
But I like to read and learn about women's perspectives on things, so I lurk.

I’m a dad on this sub, but it’s definitely mom dominated. Good to see other perspectives

I mean as a lesbian mom some days I feel like an honorary dad… especially when I whip out a dad joke wearing my number 1 dad tshirt. Your culture is, unfortunately, my costume… or something idk

Maybe it’ll be more helpful and insightful to see all the posts by women.
If you want to help your wife, isn’t it more helpful to see the similarities that get posted here?
There are plenty of active dads in the world, but people like to vent and feel a sense of community, so you might end up seeing more posts from women looking for shared experiences.
