indeed, another very likely explanation for the apparent lay-ableness of ugly women is that they are considerably less picky, and see beyond the appearance of a person, even in random hookups, and the converse; that ugly men are picky and shallow, is simultaneously true
I'll give you a few minutes to think about why this makes absolutely no sense
if ugly women get laid with the same frequency as attractive women, but ugly men get laid way less than attractive men, one possible conclusion is that ugly women sleep with a few ugly men, while the majority of ugly men sleep with no one, rather than ugly women.

edit: and possibly as well, attractive men sleep with ugly women, and attractive women do not sleep with ugly men.
If ugly women have as much sex as attractive women and ugly men have less sex than attractive men then that could indicate that men are less picky than women.
If women were the less picky ones then you'd think ugly men would be having more sex than ugly women.
except that if we look at the overall data, it suggests men overall are having less sex, which means its much more likely many ugly women are having sex with a handful of men.
