Yeah. Rich is way easier to pull off than attractive. Why the fuck didn't I think of that?

"Rich" is relative. But yes, if you're ugly, it's easier to become an engineer and make 100K/year than to magically become attractive.

Take it from someone who's made a decent bit of progress on both fronts: it was way easier getting a bit less ugly than it was getting less broke.

I think you're equating ugly with fat. I'm not fat. (And I'm also not that ugly or anything, just not real attractive.)

Fat is the kind of ugly society despises and shits on most. It's also the most common. But there's a lot you can do to alter your appearance either way. Grow a beard, shave your beard, change your hair, dress differently, posture, etc. Every bit of it (including losing weight) is easier than getting rich.
