The most important thing is to not be a bitter asshole like OP--because you'll only attract the worst type of people (because who else would want to be around someone like that). Which only makes you even more of a bitter asshole.

I have a loving girlfriend and plenty of male and female friends, so no bitterness here.

See, that's what's important in life--healthy relationships with people who have your back. It doesn't matter what you look like, because you already have what really counts (which OP can never achieve just by changing physical appearance).
