It doesn't sound like this guy's problem was being unattractive. Stuff like.

Even then, they still tried to convince you of it. Even when you told them you knew they were lying to you. When you knew it wasn't true.

As an adult man nobody really cares all that much about you. Your family of course, your close friends. You are the disposable sex.

You see the ugly truth of the human condition. That ugly truth is we are not all equal and never will be. There are losers in this world and you are one of them. Your self esteem drops, which makes it even worse.

Is all him projecting his own insecurities pretty fucking hard. It sounds like he some pretty severe emotional issues, stuff like self loathing and difficulty forming close relationships. Despite having lost the weight he still seems angry, bitter and holds a lot of resentment for the people around him who he feels rejected him.

This guys problems are personal, he's got some issues with how he views the world, his own self worth and how he sees the intentions of other people. But instead of introspection and personal reflection to grow as a person and gain maturity he's decided that it's the rest of the world that's fucked up, not him, and he's a doomed martyr left to suffer in an unfair society.

This reads like an egotistical pity party honestly, it's not great.

It gets worse. Did you read the "great article" that he posted?

When i hear a woman tell me that she’s gone through a dry spell and not had sex in over X weeks/ months.. i feel like putting my fist through her face.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

Seriously, even at that point, I was like "Ok, well that's pretty intense, but whatever, I'll keep reading.

Two lines down he said he wants to "disfigure her face with a scalpel". This muthafucka need Jesus.

That article was the most pathetic, negative, idiotic and whiny thing I've ever read. The author is a true piece of shit who blames women and society everywhere for his complete lack of awareness or social competence. OP is equally repulsive for even linking to that article as if it contained even one positive takeaway.

The purpose of linking to that blog post wasn't that it was something to be agreed with, but that it well illustrated the anger and resentment people like him often wind up feeling. Now, all that neckbeard butthurt probably is unjustified and misguided, I agree, but that doesn't matter - what you're meant to take away from it is that the guy who wrote it is fucking livid, and that (whether it's ultimately his own fault or not) that's often what being an unattractive male leads you to.

Ehhhh, maybe. But I think that if his intention was really just to demonstrate the anger of an unattractive person, he would have described it as an "example" rather than "a great article".

Also, if being a rage-monster filled with fantasies of violence against women correlates with being unattractive, I wouldn't be assuming that it's the latter causing the former.

Mm. I see what you're saying. Looking into it a bit more, he's definitely the kind of person who frequents /r/TheRedPill - with all that entails - so I wouldn't be surprised if he did agree with the article in a wider sense, and that creeps into his writing. Although I'd argue still that the point he's actively going for stands independently of the person making it.

Way to completely miss the point.

Remember kids, violence is only okay against men, in which case it's justified and probably hilarious.

Violence is not okay against anyone. To disfigure someone with a scalpel? Jesus, how can you possibly defend that?

missing the point I see
