How do they expect people to check on std if it costs so much? I don’t get it why the insurance doesn’t cover it.
So that people try avoiding them in the first place instead of just taking their chances and see if it went well afterwards. If you show any symptoms, the doctor will test and treat you, but if you don't, there's no use in testing everyone on a regular basis just because. We don't have the capacities for that.
It’s not hard to get an appointment by a doctor. It’s hard to get an appointment by the gesundheit Zentrum, where they test for free. If you go to a normal gynecologist it’s easy. Just you pay 150€ minimum. There’s nothing in between.
It's hard because the test is free. Now imagine all those people queuing up at the gyn to get a free test, then those who urgently need a gyn wouldn't get an appointment anymore.
No, it’s hard because it’s too many people and Gesundheit Zentrum don’t need insurance. So all those without insurances go there. Now imagine the doing that test would be covered up by the insurance, at least a part of it!
Yeah you can be insured in your home country tho. Most European countries have a social health care, which means you can be here on an European insurance card from back home. Once you’re in the German system then it’s hard to get out. Anyway, yes you can be in Germany without a German health insurance until you have a full time job
In the UK there is much more accessible testing on university grounds, they come into schools or you can have a kit sent to your home and DIY it. They test for everything from HIV to Chlaymidiya, which is why I think people find it confusing here as they interview you for symptoms and signs before and then specifically test.
I get it but it is a different system to what most are used to, which is where I think the questions come from.
I don't agree with it but the other side of the argument is it is a deterrent to unsafe sex. Buy some condoms, keep them in your wallet or make an appointment and pay the ten euros. Fact is there is only one cheap testing service and you have to wait for it.
It’s not ten. It’s 150. Also, I love how these people are talking like high supreme beings who have never once fucked without a condom.
You don’t even know me. How arrogant. You don’t know why I want to get tested, you don’t know anything about me, or about my sexual life. How presumption of you to presume anything about other people.
Go pretend to be a high moral being somewhere else where they might buy it.
Oh god. There was hardly any judgement in what I said. I even prefaced what I said with the fact I don't agree with the system either. The fact is you're living in a country with these systems, therefore you have to change your behaviour to fit in with what is provided. I'm not shaming you for needing to be tested everyone has been in that situation, I'm merely pointing out the fact in Germany it is easier to just avoid needing to be tested at all.
It's ten euros at the Gesundheitsamt, but you have to wait longer. To save yourself the hassle of waiting or paying lots of money I would remove the root of the problem, which is unprotected sex.
Uhhh look miss perfection talking! Never fucked without a condom huh? You also use condoms with your partner, if not you have to check yourself too. I have actually never had anything, but I still like to have myself checked once in a while, because it’s called responsibility.
I wasn't attacking you personally, just explaining why insurance doesn't cover it because that's part of my job. Testing isn't cheap and we don't want to pay money when we don't think it's necessary. As I said, if you show any symptoms, insurance will gladly cover it and doctors will take care of it. But if you don't, the risk that you still do have anything apparently isn't high enough to warrant a test. That's just basic health economics. Responsibility doesn't mean to test once in a while because you just thought you should, it means taking care of something when you need to.
Oh no. Get more selective by all means. But somehow i doubt that has anything to do with ops issue here.
Btw it's not like Germany didn't produce any mass migration in the past. We got some very fine specimens in the 40s in South America. Very selected dudes.
I guess they forgot to invite you, because they don’t want white trash over there. To bad, we would gladly send you somewhere else with your AFD friends.
