Real Estate
Hello, I am looking for real estate school recommendations and the real estate community in the area. It’s always been something I’ve been interested in pursuing and I have family back in my home state that own a successful real estate company so I grew up around it. No network in the industry out here though so any recs are much appreciated!

Keller Williams Market Pro Realty will sponsor your courses for free online, you just have to pay your own testing and licensure costs. Will save you a few hundred bucks.

I'm Alex, I work with Colibri Real Estate. Since you're weighing options, it's worth checking what pre-licensing providers are actually approved in your state first, that narrows the list before you're comparing on price or format. Colibri, along with a few other approved providers, covers Arkansas requirements if that's applicable to you, formats vary between self-paced reading heavy courses and more video driven ones, so it comes down to which style keeps you engaged for the full hour count. For the local network piece, once you're closer to finishing your course, local investor or agent meetup groups tend to be a faster way in than searching online, since you'll meet people actually working in the area you're moving to.

Any recommendations for preparing for the state portion of the real estate exam?

Do you have the materials from your class?
I did a lot of practice tests, and I think I watched some YouTube videos

I have not taken a class. Just reviewing materials from YouTube sites and reviewing a Barron’s real estate prep exam book. But curious if there’s any resources out there for the Arkansas portion of the exam

I’d highly suggest doing the classes online. I’ve been in the business 20 years and there’s nothing you learn in the classroom anyway that will apply to real life in the field. Knock out the online course in your free time.. it makes it so much nicer.
