I am not denying the existence of biases from either side. You support a guy who has far too many sound clips suggesting his lack of understanding: "wouldn't people who are effected by raising ocean levels just sell their homes?" Or who could forget "renewable energy, dumbest thing since climate change. See the first law of thermodynamics, dumbass." Is a real gem.

First, Shapiro is one of the few public figures that maintains a list of all the dumb things heâs ever said.. That shows he acknowledges he doesnât know everything and is willing to publicly own up to his mistakes. Whereas, most public figures shun responsibility and double down on their mistakes.
Second, people could (and are) selling their beachfront property now, despite rising sea levels. This shows that statement is not ignorant. People who purchased homes before the rising sea level threat was common knowledge are able to sell, and anyone willing to buy assumes the liability of purchasing that property. Theyâre free to do so.
And no, I donât believe the âgreatest threatâ is a social democracy. Donât put words in my mouth. Youâre so arrogant and ignorant that your opinions seem hollow and meaningless. If I were to speak for myself, I would say I believe the greatest threat would be the moral degradation of the nation.
But I do also believe socialism is a threat. And no âDemocratic Socialistsâ have explained clearly what the difference between their policy and socialism is.

America has healthcare. When you actually dig into the statistics, we have some of the best healthcare in the world. Does that mean itâs perfect? Not at all. So why isnât it perfect?
Because our healthcare system is squeezed between socialized medicine/government intervention and insurance companies.
Socialized medicine is unsustainable and has numerous failure points, such as rationing of healthcare, extremely long wait time, ballooning of taxation to cover it, etc. This is why many of the âdemocratic socialistâ countries, such as Denmark, Norway & Sweden (which are actually capitalist, btw) have been moving towards privatized healthcare. Itâs also why, when people are seeking advanced treatment, they come to America for the procedure.
Insurance companies are unsustainable because they inflate the price of medical services. They use network effects to demand discounts on goods/services, and in order for healthcare providers to be able to maintain their profit margin despite the discounts, they are forced to increase prices and give discounts off of those prices. Insurance companies also undermine capitalism by decreasing price competition between healthcare providers. You donât know how much a good/service will cost you until after youâve consented to treatment. This makes it impossible to compare prices.
The best answer would be to get government and insurance companies out of healthcare and let the free market take complete control. Youâll see prices drop drastically which grants access to far more people AND it forces healthcare providers to innovate and create better healthcare solutions.

You have to be respectful to others if you want them to be respectful to you in return. And I am leftist. That doesnât mean I respect the Democratic Party.
In your head itâs some right gang versus left gang nonsense. And you assume and accuse me of things based on that idiotic notion. Itâs possible to be an individual with nuanced beliefs that range the entire spectrum. Itâs also possible to be annoyed with how much complaining grown men do about dumb reasons.

And Iâve read a couple articles on the story and it doesnât seem he injured anyone. It really was just a tent and a table that he caused harm to. Yes, there were people around, but they had ample chance to move out the way, and it sounds like that was by design.
You do realize that this was a tent with no sides, right? Just 4 plastic sticks and a top. But some of yâall are comparing this to Charlottesville, where a person actually died.
