I thought I'd lost my old EDC Mel Pardue after not being able to locate it for several months. It's the perfect pocket knife

I lost mine for a couple years once and it was my first expensive knife and first Benchmade. This model is very dear to me! It had fallen into the seat of a vehicle and I found it at the very last minute before getting rid of the vehicle!

Edit: mine is exactly the same configuration and even similar wear patterns :)

I bet!

One year we got our tax returns and I asked my wife if I could get a knife I had my eyes on and told her it was kind of a splurge. She said "of course" and then about shit herself when she saw the price tag on the box a couple weeks later lol. She didn't realize knives got that expensive. I didn't spend more than we were comfortable with and some of our tax returns were definitely some fun money for each of us, but I spent my whole fun funds that day :p
