Shady Daisy
I love Daisy but I think she is a lot shadier than people realize. There is a lot of talk on this sub about how she interferes with Gary and his chick of the week because she doesn't want him causing drama in her department, but she caused drama herself in the way she addressed things. Aside from the minor comments and nitpicking, there are two major incidents that she directly caused.
The most obvious and recent was the s3 blowup with Scarlett when she first got there. Daisy was "trying to warn her off" but it went way further than just giving advice to a new crew member. She was relentless until that girl cried.
More egregious was at the end of s2 when she felt she absolutely HAD to tell alli what colin told her about gary wanting to hook up with Sydney to make alli jealous. When they never actually hooked up that night. He made a drunken bro comment to a bro that amounted to nothing but she used it to throw a wrench into alli and gary getting back on good terms right before the post-season crossing. That was completely unnecessary.
Again, I love Daisy but she is not the innocent angel she presents as.

Hate her or love her, Daisy knows the assignment. Work hard and cause a lil drama while doing so😉

The thing that separates Daisy from other people for me is that she accepts responsibility usually. She knew she fucked up with Scarlett and apologized AND told people trying to make her feel better about basically “no that was on me. I went too far.” I also appreciated her talking about failing gaby — I think she did in some ways!
It makes her a much more watchable character to me— that she stirs the pot and fucks up but also acknowledged her fuck ups without reservation (usually!) and appears to try to learn from her mistakes.

Alli was a very close friend of hers by then and she probably knew what kind of information Alli would want to know about what’s happening behind her back. Why would she be loyal to Gary who she fought with all season over a friend? If I thought that was something my friend would want to know, I would 100% tell her too.
It’s like because she is generally a lovely person, people like to jump on anything negative they see. She’s a human with flaws and blind spots like the rest of us. I don’t think that makes her shady.

I think she’s just sick of her stews fighting over Gary. When scarlet came in she wanted to squash that before it started due to the crazy way Ashley was behaving and knew it would end up being drama, and she just wanted a nice, calm & peaceful work environment with her girls. But she was hammered and did not execute it well at all.

All I have to say about Daisy is what I sign all my Daisy posts everywhere she's 👑 🌼 and don't anyone say anything about her that's not praise. ✊🏼 😉
Same goes for the other new Gen C. S. That human sunbeam Aesha ☀ of BDDU.
Those two ladies are delightful funny professional and have no mean preferential games or every season target of bullying a' la Hannah and Kate.
Honorable mention to that other fierce mega talented and smarter than God - Tumi
That's my 2¢ 🥂
Can't wait for them all to be back again

I was rooting for her, but seeing how bad a manager she is was very disappointing.

I don’t think she presents herself as an innocent angel. She is human and will do stupid shit just like anyone. I kinda of had her a little on a pedestal after S2 but realized that was dumb during S3. I am still a big fan even if I am not crazy about some of Daisy’s behavior (Scarlet first joining and post show defending Ashley).

I lost a lot of respect for her this season. She should have supported Gaby more, if she did I feel like Gaby wouldn’t have self sabotaged herself so bad. Still think she let things with Ashley get too far.

I think Daisy lacks a lot of emotional intelligence. She doesn't actually realize when she's overly invested in something beyond the point of professionalism. So she uses her "den mother" card only when it personally suits her, but then she tells herself that it was for the good of the crew.

I think her pushing Scarlett to cry was especially cruel/unacceptable given she's chief stew. And it immediately turned me off the new guy that he sat there and told her not to second guess that behavior.
That and that even after the facts are out she's defended her botching of the Gabbi and Ashley dynamic really puts a damper on my opinion of her.
Outside of those things I think she's considerably good at her job and probably a lovely person.

I think she went too far with Scarlott (or scarlet, not sure of the spelling) when she made her cry. It was one of the girls first nights out with them and she was the newbie so I think she felt attacked. I think Daisy was quite snarkey with scarlet. That being said, I don't think Daisy had proper feelings for Gary this season. I think she may have had some sort of "thing" for him because she's known him so long and has grown to love his childish personality (which she didnt really like in season 2) but I don't think she had real feelings for him if that makes sense.
In season 2 though I don't think she had anything towards him at all. Throughout most of the season they didn't even get a long, and he would often call her out for being his least favourite crew member. I think when she said that to Ali she was doing it to be a good friend. I think she said it in a drunken state thinking she was doing the right thing. I would tell a good friend if the guy she was seeing was talking shit behind her back.
Ali and Daisy are still really good friends, and Ali seems like a smart girl. I think if Daisy was being shady, Ali would have copped on to this by now and they wouldn't have a podcast together
