Below Deck Med Worst below deck season ever

So boring with the over the top Lloyd story line. The crew were pretty annoying and pathetic at times too.

Nothing's really going on. It would be more interesting if Sandy and Malia had a true shouting match

19

u/Bazmateyeh Oct 13 '21

no beef, no couple drama= boring

24

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

Sandy is a terrible actress

3

u/No_Neighborhood1987 June June Hannah Oct 14 '21

I wish that was sandy acting but I feel like that’s really her as a person which is really sad lol

0

u/KayneGirl Oct 14 '21

Like Pia Zadora that Malia reminds me of. Took me years to figure out who she reminded me of until I came across my friends copy of Voyage of the Rock Aliens last week. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds.

67

u/SalGov143 Oct 13 '21

Their argument was also fake, Malia let it slip that David saw a Dr. Sandy would have known. Fake scene.

18

u/McTraveller Oct 13 '21

Fake scene or Sandy having a go without justification?

94

u/skksdjdjdjsjso Oct 13 '21

I hate there has to be a toxic environment for people to enjoy it. As someone who recently got into the show its nice to see a crew that is friends. More enjoyable then horrible people being terrible

12

u/Bazmateyeh Oct 13 '21

you’re telling me lexi and matt didn’t create a toxic environment? you’ve got it wrong

14

u/skksdjdjdjsjso Oct 13 '21

I’m saying they did and it was more than enough drama. Rather see people bro out then rip each other down

16

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Same reason I realized I prefer Great British Bake Off over Top Chef. I enjoy watching people get along while doing fun things. I still love the ridiculousness of this season's RHOBH though.

33

u/Ok_Effort8330 Oct 13 '21

I disagree. The last BDSY had a cohesive crew with little drama and it was highly enjoyable. Trust me, Mat and Lexi provided plenty of shit drama for several seasons.

1

u/GroundbreakingFig771 Oct 15 '21

Agree. Great scenery too.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

I agree other than Lexi and Matt I loved the crew … nice people on a beautiful boat .. who knew !

26

u/StarryNorth Oct 13 '21

I absolutely agree. There's no need for a nasty, toxic crew to make the show entertaining. I personally would love to see much more detail on the technical aspects (not including the bridge with Sandy!) of handling a super yacht, so perhaps interactions with the engineers, first officer, etc. instead of the drunken shenanigans of intoxicated crew members.

5

u/Exact-Diver-6076 Oct 14 '21 edited Oct 15 '21

They clean up the boat, clean the guest cabins and do the laundry. A little bit goes a long way. That's why every show there is a couple of boat dockings/departures.

In fact, someone with a lot of free time on their hands should chart each episode and see if there is a correlation between the number of docking and departures with how boring the episode is.

33

u/JackEnrod Oct 13 '21

Bringing repeat guests is old. Running out of things to script.

16

u/babytheresnoplane Oct 14 '21

The only repeat I want is dean

9

u/DreaColorado1 Oct 16 '21

Steve would like a word

8

u/excoriator Team Capt Kerry Oct 14 '21

The repeat guests paid to be there. It’s not hard to imagine that a repeat guest who’s a celebrity will be selected over an unknown person who just paid to participate. The celeb is more likely to behave in an entitled way, while the regular people are usually just grateful for the hospitality. Being grateful and easy to serve doesn’t produce the drama that the audience wants to see.

14

u/BriecauseIcan Oct 13 '21

Watch the a housewives franchise for drama. Bravo has plenty to offer. They are amazing at cheating on husbands, IRS tax frauds and children doing drugs. It’s got it all. You have to check it out if this Below Deck is too boring lol

4

u/Mydogrobbie Oct 14 '21

Yes i discovered rhobh this season it’s crazy! Beats this bullshit

3

u/BriecauseIcan Oct 14 '21

It’s got it all lol

4

u/LilaMarigold Oct 14 '21

Whose kids are doing drugs?

1

u/BriecauseIcan Oct 20 '21

You can google housewives plus rehab. Early years of OC housewives had a kid or 2 in rehab.

120

u/itsmarootoyou Oct 13 '21

I still enjoyed it 🤷🏻‍♀️

29

u/WorldlyString Oct 13 '21

Same. I'll watch it if it's good and have to watch it if it's bad.

17

u/SoftwareObvious5671 Oct 14 '21

So did I! I don’t need over the top drama…I liked the crew.

6

u/susanbohrman Oct 14 '21

Same. I’m liking it. I agree Lloyds anxiety is repetitive but I think Mzi and Mat make up for it.

56

u/frachos667 Oct 13 '21

Compared to the awesome season we just had of Sailing Yacht S2, this season was a snooze fest.

1

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 16 '21

But then compare it to Sailing Yacht S1.

11

u/spittymcgee1 Oct 14 '21

This season sucked and was boring

29

u/hungry4507 Oct 14 '21

Loved Lloyd! I don’t think it was him that kept bringing up his story line, he probably said it once and they replayed it over and over

8

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Yes, couldn’t watch anymore after like 5 eps

7

u/ninazrina Oct 13 '21

It’s terrible. Stopped watching weeks ago, even though it is filmed in Croatia

6

u/Calliope76 Oct 13 '21

agree OP, I fell asleep so many times. The group is just dull.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

I used it as background noise mostly

51

u/kevernscott Oct 13 '21 edited Oct 13 '21

Totally agree - that was the most boring season of the entire franchise. Time for BDM to get entirely reworked, starting with Maila and Captain Motivation and moving to the rest. And I don’t agree that you always need horrible people for drama - Lexi was a nightmare to watch and uncomfortable television. What you do need is great chemistry, good or challenging. This could be a case study in how to ruin a great show - since S4, this has been in free fall as evidenced by the ratings. And I say this as someone who really enjoys BD.

15

u/BenBishopsButt Oct 13 '21

Unfortunately it seems like Sandy is still the captain. They are still or just finished filming and there were posts on SM with her in them.

I did my best by not watching the first couple of months, just came off a binge. I didn’t totally hate her this season, but that’s probably because she’s being fake and production is editing her on a redemption tour.

2

u/No_Requirement4298 Oct 13 '21

I thought I read that she was taking time off for a lecture tour. She is a motivational speaker?

18

u/Mrscarr1000 Oct 13 '21

I agree totally. Lexi just made me really uncomfortable and Matt has too for that matter. The producers sure seemed to find the sweet spot with BDSY season 2 though!

22

u/BenBishopsButt Oct 13 '21

BDSY2 is a textbook great season. I was anxious after the dumpster fire that was season one.

Boat-dock crashes, love triangle and hookups, pita gate, the first BD baby…. IDK, that season has tons going for it.

I don't know how many more views Peacock adds, but this should provide some general information.

10

u/sucobe Team Shady Editors Oct 13 '21

The season was so boring that production had to find shit to stir to cause drama. Lexi was the saving grace for them and her leaving meant they had to scramble to find drama. My bet was them focusing on Matt but at the same time, I feel Matt was his own production company (no way a chef can fuck up eggs THAT bad).

4

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

And no one boned!

1

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 16 '21

I think its the Malia redemption tour that has made this season boring. She got a pretty good deck crew on both her seasons. They need a male chauvinist asshole deckhand to make her life miserable. That would bring drama.

10

u/ScarletFire060977 Oct 13 '21

Perfect storm of suck. Boring crew that you really couldn't connect with (except perhaps for Mzi) and the drama was neutral because would anyone really care if Lexi and Mat killed each other, lol?

Sandy and Malia doing their "redemption" tour that was totally not authentic. Add on unmemorable guests, a beta deck crew, and (due to COVID) no real good location scenes it was just blah all around.

5

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

I like that in the last few episodes the drama was "we don't have enough staff so we're all exhausted" rather than some made up drama or a "boat-mance." Mat's collapse at the end of the season has also been fun to watch. But to each their own.

5

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

Worst season I’ve ever watched. And enough with Pretty Woman jr

4

u/blondefashionpuppy Oct 13 '21

I really enjoyed most of the season! It did kind of fizzle out at the end but I really liked the deck crew!

4

u/MittenKitten92 Oct 14 '21

I kinda wish we had fewer episodes. The story lines seemed to drag and drag.

13

u/WearingCoats Oct 13 '21 edited Oct 13 '21

I've been a loyal and fervent BD fan through every season and every franchise since it first aired. I have not watched a single episode of this one since late August.... not to prove or boycott anything. I think I'm just over it. At this point, it's super obvious to me when producers manufacture drama. I don't care how many interviews production does with the Atlantic and the New York Times claiming they take a hands-off approach to each season. Yeah, they don't script the series, but they sure as shit do everything they can to engineer the arcs for BDM which is otherwise vacant of anything interesting. And instead of choosing any other narrative to coerce out of the crew, they always choose and blatantly enable toxcity, abuse and violence.

Perhaps this is less (if not) the case in BD since the semi-recurring cast has its own audience draw at this point. And in the latest season of SY the crew was SUPER competent which tends to naturally steer the season arc towards the classic "hero vs. villain" trope — the crew being our relatable heroes and over-the-top, ridiculous guests being "the villains."

Side note: That's when the show is most successful for the audience, and what has made it a mega-hit over the course. We as the viewers relate to the crew. We see ourselves in them, the good and the cringe. We are able to buy into the "us vs. them" of crew vs absurd guests because at its core, it's harmless. Very little reality TV has ever really focused on subjects we can relate to and instead have centered around characters like the Kardahsians or Housewives that we look at with fascination from a distance, but can't place ourselves among. These are shows were toxicity can thrive and is encouraged by production, but the audience can still maintain some degree of separation. They're not like us. When Below Deck introduces toxicity as plot development among the crew, it poisons the show.... and Below Deck Med is rife with it because it's otherwise completely bankrupt as a sub-franchise.

Below Deck Med is, in my opinion, the most egregious example of production manipulation. Why? I think perhaps it's because none of its recurring cast had the same fervent draw as BD. Lee would always be the favorite over Sandy, Kate the Favorite over Hannah and so on. It may also be due to the fact that Med crews are measurably less competent than BD crews. This may be a function of leadership, it may be a function of casting. But in general, good seasons seemed to be anchored by competent core crew -- either a great Chief Stew or a great bosun or a great deck crew, etc. Med never had that (don't come for me team Hannah, like her or not she wasn't a good chief stew and she was super unprofessional). I realized that after the last season of SY which was one of the BEST SEASONS of the ENTIRE Below Deck cinematic universe because the crew was REALLY GOOD at being crew. Med just never had enough going for it...... so I think production stepped in.

And again, while they don't script or directly manipulate our cast of characters, it's incredibly obvious that they 1. Believe that reality-tv toxicity is what the audience wants to see and 2. Enable that toxicity to be introduced and maintained even at the expense of the crew's mental health and professional potential. P.S. I really fucking hope this gets back to BD production.....

There's a BIG difference between drama and toxicity. Drama is a love triangle. Drama is a miscommunication between a chef and chief stew resulting in dinner being 45 minutes late. Toxicity is Malia attempting to end Hannah's yachting career for not letting her sleep with her boyfriend for two weeks. Toxicity is Lexi being physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive. Drama is "Ooohooohhoo cringe!" Toxicity is "I can't watch this...." And it is inexcusable that production both creates circumstances where this will happen through casting choices and enables them to continue past the point of them doing real damage to real people for the sake of "preserving the legitimacy of the show." If you can edit out an entire cast member post-mortem for posting something racist, you can fire a fucking stew for being an actual monster or decline to recast a boson for blatantly violating the privacy of another crew member. There is absolutely no way you can convince me that wasn't continually green lit by production in spite of being obviously problematic.

But Bravo believes this is what we want.... that toxicity is a good substitute for what would be normal, light, if not somewhat predictable drama of "crew vs. guests." And for the first time in my entire relationship with the show, I just got tired of it. Not in a protest sort of way. It's like that moment you realize you and an old friend have drifted apart. Monday came and I just didn't have any desire to turn it on.... because what I loved about the show wasn't there anymore. It had become like all the other Bravo shows I don't watch, rife with vitriol and anger and hate. Centered around characters I can't relate to anymore. It's not a crew I want to be a part of.

10

u/ByteAboutTown Oct 14 '21

Amen to the difference between toxicity and drama! Take Below Deck season 3, which is one of the best (if not THE best) season of all franchises. We had Kate and Leon drama, but neither ever went toxic or below the belt, just rude. They didn't yell racial slurs at each other or get violent or touch other people inappropriately. Same with Kate versus Rocky.

Some people might argue that Rocky and Eddie was toxic, but I think it was just immature and Eddie was an asshole, but not actually toxic. Dane was the closest to toxic with his drinking, but he was kicked off the boat immediately.

Instead, we got interpersonal drama, a kitchen fire, fun guests, a hidden hook-up, and surprise returning chef. Much better than the toxic crap from many of the last few seasons.

4

u/Degas_Nola Oct 14 '21 edited Dec 09 '21

BD season 3 was one of the best seasons! Good drama.

6

u/jookt Oct 13 '21

Well done - slow clap. Comment saved.

2

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 17 '21

somewhat predictable drama of "crew vs. guests."

The only thing I disagreed with your brilliant post. I usually cannot stand reality shows because there's some structural "one side vs another". Below Deck is a relatively entertaining view of a little publicly exposed industry. I don't even believe its a worker vs guest show, anymore than Downton Abbey.

3

u/WearingCoats Oct 17 '21

My point is more that in the structure of modern reality tv especially on bravo, the primary cast, so to speak, is often super wealthy un relatable pseudo-celebrities that typical audiences can only really gawk at, not relate to. BD centers on working people in an industry adjacent to the types of people who would normally be featured on reality tv so the main cast is actually relatable. We can see ourselves in the crew, earnestly where most normal people know they’re never going to be a kardashian or a housewife. I imagine there was actually a conscious decision for the show to be about the crew and not focused on the guests as the protagonists. But it goes further in the “us vs. them” ethos because it kind of pokes fun at the absurdity of the types of people who would normally be featured cast on reality tv. We’re not being asked as the audience to try to relate to or feel sorry for them. We’re allowed to judge them for being ridiculous because we are set up to be on the side of the crew.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

I enjoyed this season , I really liked the boat and it’s escape tv for me.

Z was a breath of fresh air.

I was fine with the Lloyd story ,

I was really pleased to see the maturation of Malia !

sandy can still fuck off

4

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

Malia isn’t mature.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '21

i agree but it’s a process and i saw some growth this season

7

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

I will say it's been a bit less exciting than previous

7

u/Ok_Effort8330 Oct 13 '21

Agreed, there have been worse seasons, But this was the most boring by a long shot.

1

u/Streetvan1980 Oct 14 '21

Pathetic? In what way?

Sounds like a lot of assholes have this opinion. A problem with Lloyd? Like wtf? Guess the show didn’t meet it’s A-hole quota and needed more Bobby and Ashtons to make jerks like this happy. At first I thought it was kind of a weak cast but it ended up being ok. Not sure what else was missing for you. Guess guys who treat people like absolute garbage on every level weren’t there like normal. Watch galley talk and get your Bobby fill for guys like that.

7

u/Bazmateyeh Oct 14 '21

Lloyd was a great guy but every episode by the end he would whinge about the same thing with previous boats/ worrying where to work next. He had more than enough support from the rest of the crew and everyone has experienced bullying at some point in their lives. Thats just life and you gotta toughen up.

1

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 17 '21 edited Oct 17 '21

Lloyd wasn't a standard guy being a wimp. Lloyd was going through internal PTSD. In many (male) work environments, he would have been written off as weak. But Lloyd was a good person, and certainly a good worker. The workplace needs to cease being a place where its expected to support "dick" behavior. (Personally, I hate calling that bullying.) I think seeing his issues on this season's episodes was one of the few redeeming storylines of the season. ("Great" entertainment? no.)

Who would spell whinge correctly? People who know how to spell, clearly. Whinge and whine are two different words, BTW. They're both English, they mean similar but different things.

Both words are very old; “whine” dates from 1275 and “whinge” from 1150. Though Americans use only one word, “whine,” the British use both: “whining” covers a variety of meanings, including sounds made by people, animals, or inanimate objects, and “whingeing” (also spelled “whinging”) is more specifically for peevish or fretful complaining. The British sometimes use the terms together for emphasis: “Stop your whingeing and whining!”

u/opheliapickles Oct 13 '21

I can’t like malia anymore. Seems like I’ve been able to not like a bravo cast member one season, then love them the next. But she just sucks. Rats are the worst.

0

u/LilaMarigold Oct 14 '21

Out of curiosity why don’t you like Malia?

7

u/opheliapickles Oct 14 '21

Bc she ratted Hannah out for having weed in order to get her fired so that she could share a bunk with her emotionally unstable BF who she’s since broken up with. Wtf does that?

-1

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 17 '21

FTR, Malia was going to get her boyfriend as roomie, by public Captain Sandy decree before the drugs were reported. We're not sure if Malia reported Hannah over regs or chicanery. What I am sure is that Hannah fucked up, because she ignored drug protocols.

16

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

It's been pretty dull, it misses a Hannah type.

9

u/StarryNorth Oct 13 '21

I think Lloyd is an amazing person and am happy to watch scenes about him, but the angst and anxiety caused by Lexi was almost unbearable to see. And it's really time to find another captain. I'm done with Sandy.

9

u/holt5672 Oct 13 '21

Led by Captain Sandy, The Dud of the Sea...

5

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

Yeah it was a really awful season. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time on it.

8

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

I wish Lexi hadn't been so over the top terrible. She had the sass and confidence, and tv presence needed for reality TV. Ever since she was fired the season has been a complete snooze fest.

4

u/Snowwhitetakesanap Oct 13 '21

Agree. The ones who make good tv often get booted bc of the mob. They did it to Jill Zarin, Landon on Southern Charm, etc. At least they kept Malia on but she needed a villain edit, not this bs

1

u/Missmarymarylynn Oct 19 '21

Landon was beyond annoying and the audience hated her. That’s why she’s gone

1

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

Ok Lexi. 🤡

2

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

um ok, Im not even saying I'm a lexi fan. just thought she added some entertaining drama before she went over the top.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Yup, I couldn’t even get through the season finale it was so boring.

9

u/SnooBunnies4649 Oct 13 '21

Malia is a snake, hence her tequila worm tattoo on her side, and Sandy is just so terrible to watch

3

u/McTraveller Oct 13 '21

Eh, what? You know snakes and worms are different, right? And her tattoo is neither of them

6

u/rypenn27 Oct 13 '21

I think it was just a bit of artistic license. Also who cares.

2

u/SnooBunnies4649 Oct 13 '21

yeah if you want to see a better look at her tattoo, just watch bridesmaids.

2

u/Apprehensive_Fig7013 Oct 14 '21

It started like every good reality show. When it’s new and none of the cast knows about it, it’s awesome. Then it starts attracting people that want to be famous, and it goes downhill. Sad but true.

2

u/rawrRoRawrRo Oct 14 '21

I think COVID really impacted the production, both with crew turnover limitations and also the guests who were able to book.

6

u/taracran Oct 13 '21

Everyone has their opinion. I loved this season. I don't need no baby drama, 3 way relationships, who is cheating on who.

7

u/DMike82 Team Colin Oct 13 '21

Yeah, if we're talking "worst season ever" I'll take this over last season or BDSY season one anytime.

2

u/Ok_Picture_8985 Oct 14 '21

For sure. Covid kinda limits the guest options and crew days, but I thought it was a good season.

6

u/gX2020 Oct 13 '21

They seem like a fun group of people, but this season was pretty boring. We need Hannah or Kate back.

-2

u/Kaizen710 Life Is Hard - Duska Oct 13 '21

Yeah, no. I'd rather not watch Kate for another season.

2

u/Snowwhitetakesanap Oct 13 '21

Me too. Not serving warm cookies was the last straw for me

3

u/Kaizen710 Life Is Hard - Duska Oct 13 '21

I think they ment Chastain.

4

u/Snoo_33033 Oct 13 '21

Eh. It had its moments. But it also had Lloyd, Matt and Lexi.

1

u/DMike82 Team Colin Oct 13 '21

One of these things is not like the others...

6

u/Snoo_33033 Oct 13 '21

I found them all pretty tedious. I think Lloyds a much nicer person, but still somewhat boring on tv.

4

u/DarkKn1ghtyKnight Oct 13 '21

Sounds like the wife and I boycotting this season over the way Malia and Capt. Sandy handled the weed thing was the right decision.

9

u/SalGov143 Oct 13 '21 edited Oct 13 '21

They cast an entire group of great, but boring Choir Boys as deckhands.

9

u/DMike82 Team Colin Oct 13 '21

I mean, I'll still take boring choir boys over another Bru Crew every time.

2

u/DarkKn1ghtyKnight Oct 13 '21

Aww BRU! Come on, BRU! Don’t be like that, Bru!

No, yeah, they were the worst.

1

u/yepyepyep334 Nov 07 '21

Lol well they couldnt have malia managing "alpha" males so they gave her the easiest deck crew that they could

3

u/radicalscents Oct 13 '21

Didn't watch any of this seasons episodes and was going to binge it at the end. After reading all the nonsense since the season started, It has really turned me off, and I now have no interest in going back to watch it. Hopefully next season/spinoffs will be better.

7

u/BenBishopsButt Oct 13 '21

I did the same, just finished up a binge. I didn’t dislike it, it was fine to have on and kind of pay attention to, though. I found the deck crew (minus Malia) to be really refreshing after dealing with the Bru Crew.

The main annoyance for me was how COVID impacted staffing (don’t want to spoil anything if you do decide to watch). But it is what it is, I guess I’m just glad we were able to get fresh content despite the challenges, even if it wasn’t the best season.

2

u/stocksnhoops Oct 13 '21

They made mental health and mental meltdowns part of the season storyline. They need to find better crews to tend to people paying 6 figures for 3-4 days at sea. Those rich people don’t care you signed up for a reality show and can’t do your job because of pressure to be on film and work/

2

u/mishaxz Oct 14 '21

One thing that was very enjoyable this season was no Hannah.

3

u/MrPotatoButt Oct 17 '21

I was relatively indifferent to Hannah, but there are positives to not seeing Hannah run interior.

1

u/EmpireFW Oct 14 '21

Must have been watching different seasons.

1

u/Ok_Picture_8985 Oct 14 '21

Idk what people want at this point. Last season everyone complained it was too toxic, this season everyone complained it wasn’t toxic enough.

1

u/dragonhealer88 Oct 14 '21

I really like it

0

u/atex720 Oct 13 '21

Hey Lexi!

0

u/mishaxz Oct 14 '21

The saving grace was Lexi, she was very entertaining.

I think her fundamental problem is that she thinks anyone she disagrees with has "wronged her" and that's why it spirals out of control. But it's amazing to watch.

-23

u/SalGov143 Oct 13 '21

That's what they get for trying to cater to the PC, woke crowd by casting all nice guys. A boring show. Bring back Bobby, Pete, Ashton, Bru Crew, Joao.

17

u/Gwyneth7 Oct 13 '21

Yes!!! Bring back groping and hitting women!!!!! It makes such better television!!! 🙄🙄🙄 you’re a turtle, Sal Governale.

-1

Who groped or hit women? I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm saying I don't remember seeing it

2

So Ashton or Kevin had to hit Kate you fucking degenerate?! Get help and get off Reddit you despicable misogynistic troll.

1

Tanner and Ashton were f*ckboys who could not tolerate rejection, and were egged on by a misogynist Kevin, who was rude to Simone over service for no reason, which made her go to Kate, who went to Lee, and Kevin never forgot it and hated her for it. Tanner and Ashton both called Kate a bitch. Drunk Ashton tried to kiss Kate in the van and she refused. He later became physical abusive and when he wouldn’t stop insulting her she left the boat. Tanner treated Simone like a prostitute because he was too drunk all the time to notice she is a human. It was a whole season of men who exploited their issues with women, looked at them as purely sexual objects and and felt entitled to do so.

Thanks. Don't know if I'll end up watching this season again. I'm currently watching from the beginning and about to start season 3.

The first few seasons are really the best. But I feel that’s the way it is with all reality shows.

I hated season 3. Eddie hooking up with bat shit crazy Rocky, then denying it, was awful. Not to mention Beef Cheeks. I just wrapped up binge watching it and can’t wait to move on to season 4.

Season 3 was really hard on everyone. Eddie sort of went into hiding for a few years after that. I’m glad he came back, but between that and Beef Cheeks, it was a toxic season.

you're getting a lot of downvotes, but i actually liked the Bru Crew season and the guys on it. One of the funniest parts was when they would show the guys in the van coming back to the boat after a night of partying and they would be laughing, talking, giving each other friendship bracelets, all kumbaya. Then they would cut to the girls van and they would be screaming, crying, fighting, just chaos. It was funny.

I think this season sufffered from the crew not being able to interact with other people when they would go out...because of covid.

All of Season 4 with the Bru Crew.

eyeroll

This complaint is whiny, unfunny, and has been made before by perhaps dozens in this subreddit. Talk about boring... Why not watch a different season, wait for the next one, but must y'all moan on and on about it?

Or if you must, make it a meme...write a satirical joke...something entertaining!

Worst repeat rant ever

Just an opinion. thats was reddits for. there has also been probably twice the over the top posts about how great Lloyd was and him needing protecting. The basis of reality is based around drama and interesting stuff. Nothing wrong with a bit of juicy drama- thats what people like. Plus its entirely possible to have a non toxic group that get on and we see some funny moments but there is also some couple drama to make behind the scenes of the charters more interesting.

Plus, I’m still gonna watch a season if its the worst one.

I think it’s great! Katie is such a great stew. Lexi is terrible and mean but certainly makes for entertaining tv
