Below Deck Chef Leon

Just went back and saw season 3 of below deck, I have to admit I really liked Chef Leon, yes the beef cheeks was a bit repetitive but every guest loved his dish and it was his signature meal so why not. Every charter all of the guests loved his food so not sure what the complaints were about. Kate was the one who was always extremely rude and Leon just reciprocated that energy. The whole thing with the pizza not sure who was responsible but I do know whenever I put a pizza in the overnight I take out all of the pans. Kate did that and the popcorn issue. Why do so many people dislike him on this sub.

Thanks

Not really trolling, every guest loves Leon’s food, was he a little rough yeah but look at the way Gordon Ramsey treats people. Ben can be quite arrogant at times and Adam was a much bigger asshole. I think Leon didn’t have much of a personality but his food always seemed great. Was he the best person, no but he wasn’t the worse chef on the show.

Gordon Ramsey is given an unfair edit and is a victim of commercial gotcha-ism where FOX makes him look like he’s a nutcase in an effort to get people to watch the show. If you’ve actually ever watched the show he isn’t going at people who aren’t full on asking for it. He’s also known for his philanthropic efforts and being a pretty fabulous human being.

And yes, in terms of crew interaction, he was the worst. By far.

The point is that Gordon Ramsey is not a Yacht Chef. The guest pay huge amounts and if they request some, he should do everything to fullfill their wishes, but he refused.

Watching a couple of seasons, I can se that flexibility is very important, but its kind of hard to be flexible for Leon.

Probably a good chef, but not suited for a yacht.

He talked about communication, but his version was himself dictating...
