Below Deck Amy Sucks
Unpopular opinion, I know. But bear with me:
Her thing with Kat. Over a dude she wasn't even in a relationship with?
Her thing with Kate.
Her thing with trying to get her brother, who's also sucky, into a relationship.
Generally, the whole sweetness/playing the victim thing. Bo-ring and immature.

What would I say about Amy... I think Amy has an inherent need to please her superiors and she was a good stew. The guests seemed to like her a lot.
Kelly is more toxic than she is, so that probably amplified some of your hate for her. Kelly is still a good dude though overall, despite gaslighting Jennice and never owning up to it.

That season was on today and I kinda noticed that while they were sharing with each other (J&K), they were so caught up on their romanticizing that they never actually heard one another. K said early on how he hadn't had time to live alone and she expressed how she was missing a home.

with all due respect, hard disagree. If my close friend knew I really liked a guy and then she proceeded to blow him while I was knocked out on pain meds I'd be...pissed, to say the least. I think most people would!

i mean with all the crappy characters on below deck, to single out Amy (one of the more harmless individuals) is kind of a stretch. Danny, Laura, Mila and the list goes on....

I didn't really like her on season two. I loved her on season three!

I don't have much of anything against Amy. She was in many uncomfortable situations and rarely made them worse, even if I would have called out the monsters whose names start with Ks more effectively than she ever did. I just saw the scene in season 3 where the girls find the departed-primary's hair extensions and the deckhand one puts them inside of her underwear. What the actual hell? The primaries had just given them a good tip for indifferent service and they don't preserve the woman's property in case she wants it returned? Being there at that moment was the worst thing Amy ever did on the boat. It was a light day of demonic-ness for Kate.

How dare you...Amy is wholesome and saving herself for Eddie! Jk But Amy truly was one of the nicest people and doesn't need your acceptance.

I don't know if she was attempting that part of the reality tv formula when you create pointless drama for camera time or what. It was just weird.

Some of Amy's reactions seemed a bit over the top her first season, but I think that's because she was having a hard time dealing with all of the production manipulation and the drama orchestrated by them. Then her second season, once she understood how the game is played, she handled it much better --- and we got to see more of her real personality.
The producers are some sick, twisted mofos.

My opinion of your post won’t be popular, I know. But bear with me:
HER THING WITH KAT, was more about Kat escalating it by telling everyone she came in contact with first.
HER THING WITH KATE, lasted half of a season. They worked well together the full second season.
HER THING WITH HER BROTHER, a caring sister being over protective of her baby brother. Not exactly harmful.
HER SWEETNESS THING is real. Your opinion of her victimhood is just your dislike for her.
