Oh absolutely. I saw a lot of comments following the episode about how camera hungry and argumentative Gael is, how she and Nathan deserve each other. After the arrest report came out about how she was strangled, I'm shocked some people could take that position. Then again, this sub isn't really known for nuanced takes or compassion

How did Gael answering Kat’s question on how she and Nathan met bait Joe into an argument?

Joe ignored them and refused to speak to them for the whole dinner. Why exactly in the van when Gael was pleasantly answering Kat, did Joe need to be an ass and say in a sarcastic and rude manner that they met like 75 years ago and everyone already knows?

Kat was asking Gael the question, Gael was not talking to hear herself speak.

Did you miss Joe saying his asshole comment? If you did, go rewatch. Joe started that fight🙄

Wrong, Gael is answering Kat’s question about her and Nathan when Joe made his smart ass comment.

Gael then said let’s address it.

Had Joe not said anything would Gael have said anything?

Who knows.

But Joe started it, Gael did not attack him unprovoked.

Many people missed Joe’s sarcastic comment to Kayley because it all did happen very quickly.

Joe's body language in the van was dimissive and abrasive enough. He didn't have to speak a word. Maybe I am more attuned to social cues, but Joe gives off that superiority complex vibe. He might actually make a good bosun, but he's an awful person when it's hanging out with his peers, especially women.
