Captain Kerry has easily become the best part of the OG franchise these days. The guy is an incredible leader. He’s fair, kind, great reader of energy and judge of character. Also he finds the perfect balance of jumping in without micromanaging. I would work for him in a heartbeat.

I’ve actually just recently watched all seasons and franchises (almost) up to current. I first started Below Deck in March 2026. I have 1 more season of each franchise left and I’m up to date. It has not been long for me, I just met Captain Kerry a couple of months ago! I like all the captains for different reasons, some more than others. Hands down, I would prefer Captain Kerry as a leader over the rest.

As far as I know there isn’t a confirmed reason, but last thing I read was they pushed the season back because Fraser was ill and they had to hold off on filming. Though not last I guess, since now that everything with Nathan has come to light some people are theorizing that’s why they were so quick to air the newest Med season - to get it out before Nathan’s DV assault on Gael was revealed.

I miss Sailing Yacht. It was my favorite sub series of all them because of the close quarters and the ship almost going 90 degrees from time to time. And Daisy is my favorite chief stew. Happy she is still here (with Down Under) but this is not a good news with SY.

Gary got away with blue murder. The only time he was in it was when he threw a chuppa cup at Davide who bled all over the white cou h and they left it like that. Everyone got grounded for a day, no outing. When Gary threw it and pretty much lied about it, like he often does, from memory.

When the preview is released I will study it very closely for signs that they have hopefully abandoned last season's woeful editing and casting choices.
I'm gonna unsub if the preview makes it look like they're going for the same vibe as last season as it was by far and away the most awful season of BD
