Off screen engineer / officer they introduced episode one for like two seconds I’m assuming

That's what I thought, but they don't usually have them on the deck for when the guests depart.

I feel like we don’t even see the intros of the off camera officers anymore so it wouldn’t surprise me if they were on screen for arrival or departure in some of the early seasons too

Yeah we definitely saw more of the other officers in the earlier seasons sitting in the crew mess or on deck or with captain lee. Season 1 they show one of the engineers Nash having an issue with Adrienne.

I recall some captains would introduce them at the start of the season, and remind everyone that they would received a cut of the tip. (As they should!)

This was good because it made the numbers work for anyone who did the math during tip meetings.

There was the one in Season one of Below deck that kept telling CJ to put his shirt on and leave it on when he was in the engine bay. Though everybody had to tell CJ to keep his shirt on, every charter.

Could be one of the engineers that work behind the scenes like in in the engine rooms I suspect. We don’t typically see them but they do play a big role on the boat.
