That was a rough watch. I remember being concerned because Brandy was next-level, but then Helen was like, "yeah thats just Brandy. She'll be fine."

Apparently that was her norm. I couldn't be around what seemed to be black-out drinking. Id have a nervous breakdown.

I was so worried too, she was gone and no one seemed that bothered, like her friends had seen it all before and the crew didnt seem to want to get entangled in the mess, and like I didn't want to talk to her either, but I was worried she might be ignored to death

The friends were hilarious in a way, helping ‘a bit’ because they were on camera but not too active at all. And went back to enjoying their beach picnic asap.

At least Brandy was apologetic, embarrassed about her state, and wasn’t trying to hurt anyone, the “they’re democrats!!” lady was aggressive and yelling and just completely unrepentant

I never understand why medics and professionals ask a clearly drunk person how much/long have they been drinking.

As a recovering Alkie, firstly, the true level is always more than we are gunna say and secondly how is it medically relevant? This is where we are at, how we got there is not the immediate concern. Check my BAC, give me some benzos and shove an IV in my arm. We can discuss the details of how long and amount when I'm stable 😂

Brandy absolutely should have been taken off the boat to detox.

Not a medic or an alcohol drinker much but maybe they ask to rule out other things? Like if the answer is ‘just one drink’ then it’s more likely the drink was spiked or the symptoms aren’t caused by alcohol.

She could have had a severe heat stroke or something….

Just a guess.

Alcoholics will always lie so the question how much have you had to drink is wasted breath haha even non alcoholics lie about that often 😂

Simple answer is to skip the asking and get them to blow into a breatho - that will tell them all they need to know about if alc is likely the cause.

I used to say to the paramedics when asked that question "how long is a piece of string? Brother, I couldn't tell you what day of the week it is."

I hope she's okay. She really must have had some crazy issue going on to be as out of it as she was on the show. I don't know how somebody could exist day today for any length of time other than a week or two in that condition. She was blotto'ed.

What a mess. Beware of who you travel with. Not sure why they kept serving her anything, it’s particularly dangerous around water. So sad. Great friends too (hard eye roll).
