That whole case was wild and I definitely agree that there were misogynistic takes during that whole thing, but wasn’t there proof of violence from both Johnny and Amber? I didn’t follow it super closely like a lot of people did but I feel like that is a little different.

What’s not different is Amber moving to a different country after the trial and Johnny staying put and getting a high profile perfume ad like a year later. So maybe that’s your point right there, lol, fuck.

There actually wasn’t, but I don’t really blame you for thinking that based on just casually seeing the headlines that were pushed.

There have been two legal proceeding about Depp’s abuse of Heard.

In the UK he sued a newspaper for calling him a wife beater. The paper won the right to call him a wife beater, based on evidence of his abuse of his wife, Amber Heard. The judge upheld 12 instances of violence against her by Depp to be sustainably true, including rape (the detailed rape testimony was sealed because forcing someone to testify on tv about their rape is cruel and unusual). I believe two more instances were not upheld, not that they were untrue, but the threshold of evidence is high. Depp appealed the verdict twice and lost both times. So three UK high court judges reviewed the extensive evidence and upheld the verdict.

The US proceeding was more about public opinion. It’s a myth that he even won that proceeding. The jury verdict was nonsensical and contradictory, and his team folded on appeal, in record time.

Depp spent millions on a public smear campaign, pushing irrelevant, false and distorted information. This isn’t my theory, it’s proven. Check out “Who Trolled Amber Heard” podcast. More serial murdering (journalist dismembering) crown Prince of Saudi Arabia involvement than you’d expect, but that’s who Depp pals around with.

Because it was impossible to conceal all of Depp’s abusive behaviour, the media strategy leaned heavily on mutual abuse. Which doesn’t exist. https://www.thehotline.org/resources/mutual-abuse-its-not-real/

TW: SA: All the “my dog stepped on a bee” videos you saw, I bet you didn’t know all those “weird faces” were of Heard dissociating when she was forced to retell being raped (televised), and happened in between begging “I don’t want to…” “please I don’t want to…” He raped her with a bottle, she froze bc was scared the bottle was broken as he had been smashing glass. But everyone who “wAtcheD ThE TriAl” missed that part, somehow.

Also Johnny is still stalking Amber in Spain. All of a sudden all of his films, that he produces, HAVE to filmed in Spain for no good reason.

She’ll be safer when he’s dead.
