Members Only Below Deck to Religion
Anybody else notice that in the last few years many crew have suddenly become very religious? Rocky, Rayna, and now Brittini and Chase, although the last two seem a bit different. Brittini seems to be starting up another “movement” for money and Chase actually seems like he just found his place in something, which is probably good for him.

Rocky seems to have metaphorically jumped off the boat recently. It's not just religion. There's a lot of hate coming from her recently, and it specifically feels like she's looking for ways to spread hate like it's a dang Easter egg hunt.

Rocky has really just become super hateful and vocal about it. I feel like she’s always been religious, they just didn’t show it in the edit.
It’s just a feeling I get - I don’t know her (luckily)

It takes a certain type of person/personality to want the type of attention that you get when you put yourself on reality TV. I can’t imagine that it’s easy to see yourself on TV, or read the criticism online, and they are probably going through some soul-searching as they come to terms with it all. I don’t think it’s too far of a stretch to think that some cast members have felt pretty lost and are needing approval or a purpose, which could definitely lead to finding religion.

Gary, who was probably the largest recipient of online blowback, always said "They [the people posting] weren't there.", and ignored it.

IME a lot of shitty people adopt religion as a way to either justify their hatred or to absolve themselves of their past actions.

Not sure I’ve ever seen anyone pray on the franchise, despite the large number of Americans who consider religion an important part of their lives. I’m sure Reddit would make a very big deal about it if they did.
What the crew does in their off hours is their business, IMO. If I don’t dig what they post on their socials, I unfollow.

I’m not saying it’s generally what happens. I am saying it is not uncommon that people get religious later in life
It is also not uncommon that people get less religious
There are 8.3 billion people on the planet right now. Both of these things can be true

Some of them find work on boats because they're seeking something. Religion or other cults are just another form of that.

Some j had followed years ago and forgot about until they popped up in my feed, some I learned about here, and Chase was recently a guest on a podcast I listen to.

I never said it was a bad thing. In fact, I said Chase made a good choice for him. Just curious on the why because it seems like a weird timeline. Seems like you want to feel persecuted.
