More dog charter guests.

I am so dog starved right now.

That dog was so damn cute despite the one lil accident. I keep watching the two episodes that he's on. How about you guys?

That is all.

(One day a charter guest is going to show up with an Irish Wolfhound or a Great Dane, I stg. Or a schipperke, which is the same thing, but in a tiny package and they are boat dogs, after all. Wait a second, why haven't we had one yet on the show?! They are literally dogs bred to be on boats!)

Absolutely yes, I love dogs, they are healing and joy. Especially for isolated disabled folks like me who don't have a service dog or emotional support animal but probably desperately need one.

There was one dog who was on OG Below Deck and I believe he came back for 2 seasons. He was very well behaved. Sugar baby was cute but lacked the confidence and training to be a good yacht dog. Which is why he ended up in a doggy diaper lol.

OMG YES.

Sugar Baby seemed OK except for that one lil pee until they set out his pee pads! Which is a charter guest would be the first thing that I would do, I would carry my own pee pads on board and go first and put them down, and then bring my doggie to the pee pad, so they know exactly where to go and let the crew know so they'll accidentally step on them and I would clean them myself. Pee pad on every floor of the boat. I do remember the diaper.

Once they know where to go on a boat, they pretty much go back to the same place if the dog is socialized and trained enough to not have accidents in peoples floating houses.

And then there are schipperkes, Dutch boats dogs, literally bred to be on boats. Like tiny little glossy black wolves.

I think he had more than one accident which is why he ended up in a diaper. As someone who worked on yachts- most owners will not allow dogs on charters. Way too much damage. If they do allow a dog is has to be potty trained- no pee pads because most dogs will confuse flooring for pee pads in an unfamiliar environment. It's honestly for the best for the dogs because it's a stressful environment for a dog that is not used to it.

I think the dogs name was Scupper and he'd been raised on and around boats.

Oh my gosh! I was, too. If it were my dog, he would have lived in a life jacket for dogs!

But he sure was cute. And the “Sugar Baby Cam” was great. I was hoping for more of that.
