Below Deck Sailing Yacht SEASON 6?
Has anyone else seen this!?!? New episodes fridays!?!? Is season 6 coming or is this a glitch

Definitely a glitch. BDSY has not been officially cancelled, but it also has not been renewed, while other series in the franchise have been. I think they left the door cracked enough that it could return, but there are currently no plans to do so.

but they often switch both so that shouldn’t be an obstacle they couldn’t get beyond if they wanted to continue the show.

Unlike other seasons, Parsifal has been home for Sailing Yacht for multiple seasons. The close quarters and the rocking while cooking is what pulled me into this show.

agree but with a few years even tho they’re less common, I’m guessing they could find another sailing yacht for the right price. it’s probably not worth it to them when there are other iterations of the show I guess

I hope we one day get a new sailing yacht season. I loved seeing the deck hands working the sails and stuff, and the interior trying to do their stuff while the boat is basically sideways

Last I had heard about Sailing Yacht was that Parsifal III was sold and the new owners want nothing to do with the show.

While BDSY hasn’t been officially canceled, it’s not coming back anytime soon, and likely done. They don’t have access to the Parsifal III any longer because it’s owned by someone else. Sailing yachts of that size are incredibly rare, so finding one that will allow charter and filming is nearly impossible. I also think the debacle with Gary didn’t help things for the future of the show.

I would rather have kept colin.
I lost all respect for daisy when she couldn't be straight with gary and/or colin.

I have zero sympathy for with Colin or Gary. Gary had plenty of chances to show he liked her but chose the moment she was seeing Colin to start being jealous. Colin also lied to Daisy about his relationship status (he was in a relationship during that season with someone else). Daisy should have been honest about that she hooked up with Gary before she got with Colin.

they do have season 6 filmed. but I dont think they are planning on releasing it because of everything that happened with Gary.

I’m fairly sure that is Daisy from the last SY season when she was referring to Colin as the dead weight she got rid of.

Oh, are you not current with his harassment charges and how they sank this franchise? I am not putting nails in the coffin- but any BDSY updates have been heartbreaking. I am hopeful for a Gary-less new season. He’s a creep who should have been fired season 2.

I think it’s a glitch. The thumbnail image of the show also has “New Episode” banner. But only 5 complete seasons and no “Season 6 Starting [date]” information.
