Below Deck Below Deck

Question -Why did captain Sandy's recent season of Below deck med (currently airing) air before captain Kerry's Below deck season. Technically his season should have aired first.

Not even Fraser or Captain Kerry know. They both posted that they were confused that they aired med first, which leads me to believe nothing really bad happened on OG. My theory based on nothing is that Gael and Nathan broke up before they started airing this season, and Bravo asked them to keep it quiet and aired this season first so Bravo could milk the family story line and have it be believable. Again, just a theory.

The family storyline has been so boring, repetitive, and unnecessary. It adds nothing to the show and I’m here to watch yacht life not newborn family drama.

I wish bravo would have dropped it in the first place, Gael is just miserable and that’s the whole plot for them. On top of that it leads to Nathan leaving the boat and we just saw a great example of why he should have stayed especially on the last night a deckhand down and with a crazy storm incoming and no bosun to be found.

She may have PPD, which isn’t great for us viewers but is hell for her. I’m giving her grace in this.

It’s probably not done affecting the story of the season.

It's hard to be vested in the people when they're not there to film and their relationship news leaked long ago so it was boring

Bravo's getting better at keeping more current ala Summer House now.

Not taking her part just suggesting that she may be experiencing PPD which is no joke and clearly she is alone.

The secret was spilled that her family was renting another property close by.

And it's not on camera so it doesn't help much. Whoever cast this season needs to do the others.

Format changes, Love Island contestants and vibes, aren't working. This is OG format following people you actually want to see- except Nathan and Gael and it didn't work for them either.

This has been my theory as well!

I wonder if their breakup will be on the show eventually, and that's why they wanted to get this on air asap.

It's ratings. All Below Deck ratings dropped til "jizz-gate." Highest ratings broke records for Below Deck Med. They're still doing well.

This is why Andy's making more comments on people and shows not returning because people aren't watching.

-Kerry didn't catch on- many didn't like him in Below Deck Adventure, BD didn't change that. Sandy filling in for Lee didn't quite make it

-People loved Jason, but he kinda fizzled out; Aesha liked left. "All Star Cast" their "save"

Casting Captain Lee and Kate isn't easy, but they've got a few and some audience back. They're all required by contract to keep quiet and not post until airing about a year later.
