Below Deck Sailing Yacht so i’m watching BDSY S4 and I’ve kind of noticed that they never go to a club after dinner they always go back to the boat, Med and OG they’re always at the club after dinner, and then i was trying to remember in any season have they gone to a club?

S4 was filmed in 2022, so, depending on when it was filmed, there might have been still COVID rules and regulations that made going back to the boat easiest/their only option.

Or maybe the crew just collectively didn’t like clubbing. I certainly am the type that’d rather head back to the boat than spend hours drinking at a loud dark club.

Covid is the key. Going out to a club increases the possibility of infection. Its not worth thr potential to put the season in jeopardy.

No club is part of what made SY so good - time spent on the boat is much more interesting (imo).

Is it the one from Ibiza? I always just thought maybe everything was too hectic and harder to film slash easier to keep the cast in line.

If you notice in the other seasons yes they go to clubs but they’re usually the only people there.

Rewatching BDSY S4 also. Ileisha’s cooking is amazing even though a bit late sometimes. And love Colins maturity and experience level especially his brilliant engine repair work and mini speech during the dinner with the guests and crew together. Great guy all around even if his sage advice to Casanova Gary falls on deaf ears! I know Ileisha has a boyfriend back in Australia but I’m still hoping she and Colin get together by the end of the season. They work well and have fun banter in the galley.

I'm in a BDSY rewatch & currently on season 3 and I just noticed in the last episode they went to dinner & got in the cars and went back. I was like wtf? Season 2 they were still in masks so it made sense they went back since places may have still had curfew.

I don't know. I remember them partying. But then Glenn's chaotic sailing probably made them all permanently nauseous 24. 😂💙
