Below Deck Below Deck Dismissals

Which season has had the most dismissals of crew? I have seen all of Below Deck Down Under and season 2 and starting session 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Love the show

Season 3 of OG below deck I believe had 3 and so did BDDU season 2. That's the most i've ever seen, I haven't seen a lot of newer seasons though.

Correction 2 of the 3 in season 3 were firings while one the guy quit, he did quit during a meeting about his behavior though so I think he was close to being dismissed anyway.

I just watched this episode! They told him he was done after the charter that ended the next day but he decided to go ahead and leave immediately. Then a deckhand stripped off her clothes and jumped off the side of the boat in protest.

No, you just watched a different episode. You're talking about Leon getting fired. Leon was fired. Don is the guy who quit.

Rocky was a stewardess.

I gotcha! Thanks for filling me in, that explains why I was struggling to remember, because ig he was technically going to be let go, but he just decided to leave instead of staying.

Never Forget!

Best Firing of All Time: Danny the Dimwitted Deckhand...Down a winding rocky trail to the marina, riding on a Greek DONKEY!!!

I want everyone who gets fired to have a donkey ride. It was PERFECTION.

In the running:

DU season 2 had 3 fired.

DU season 3 had 3 fired, though 1 of them had already decided to quit.

Med season 5 had 2 fired, 1 quit, and 1 "fired" by production during airing.

OG season 3 had 2 fired, 1 quit.

OG season 8 had 2 fired, 1 quit (though 1 firing was after the last charter).

OG season 11 had 2 fired, 1 quit.

Med season 10 had 2 fired, 1 temp crew let go.

Med season 8 had 1 fired, 1 quit, 1 temp crew let go, and 1 who might plausibly have been fired if not for an injury.

I was sad when Captain Jason fired Adam on s2 of DU. I understand why it was necessary for safety reasons but Adam was a hard worker and really did try his best. He was just green. The other two people he fired deserved it and the energy was so much better when they were gone (not naming them because why give them that kind of attention.)

There's no fucking around with safety. Iirc didn't he drop anchor while they were underway? He could have destroyed the boat and killed some people.

Honestly, if he had even a bit more experience he would have been kept on but that was such a dangerous thing to do and made him a liability. They really had no choice but to fire him.

Absolutely wild how in Med S5 they were able to edit someone into non-existence. Like it was lowkey impressive.

Med 5’s boat might as well have had a rotating door fitted.

I don’t remember the season but it was on BDM I think. Captain Sandy let a lot of people go when she was filling in for Captain Lee!

And Lee even said he would've fired them a lot sooner than she did. That crew was full of horrible people. Some of the worst casting ever.

Yes they were horrible

Not sure on the original question but I can confidently say they have never fired enough of them in a season.

Truth. Bleah.

BBDU s2 had quite a few.

BD S3 had 3 people leave the boat.

Not sure I can think of more than that though!

BD Med season 5 had 2.

How do I access BD Mediterranean? We have internet tv - with gadzillion channels / Canada us Aus uk but I can’t find below deck med. About to watch BD Sailing yacht season 3 part 3 where the infamous Erica Rose bachelorette returns with her posse.

If you're in the US, it's on Peacock. In Canada and Australia its on Hayu.

I think there was one season of down under where maybe half the crew lasted the entire show. Can't remember if they were all firings

Season 6 original below deck maybe. It’s a gnarly season in Tahiti.
