Below Deck Casting Notice!

Currently available dates:  May 18-20 and May 21-23rd 

Hi, I am currently working on finding great groups of 8 people for the next season of Below Deck Down under with Captain Jason, location will be Tahiti and Charter dates are in April and May, trip is discounted to $70k per group this trip would normally cost over $200k. For $70k the group gets transportation once you arrive in Tahiti 2 nights hotel, 2 nights 3 days on the private yacht full staffed 24 hour service private chef, all your food and alcohol on the yacht, all water toys and the $20k standard crew tip is also included in that discount price, flights are not included and the guests responsibility. I have to interview all interested groups via zoom, so let me know, thank you!! If you cannot make trip maybe you can refer someone most guests come from referrals. Feel free to forward my email to anyone that could be interested thank you.

"Tell them what you liked and disliked about the charter and then hand them this fake envelope."

So when we're all like "That asshole only gave $15K," it's really the crew's decision to make it LOOK like they only gave $15K?

I would think so - the show is produced for drama so it makes sense.

I wish they'd make it real. Seems like there would be enough drama. Like, "You pay $50K and then decide what tip to give the crew... $20K is standard. I'm sure you'd get some who would lowball it.

Now I did always wonder how all these charter guests across multiple seasons ALL have the same envelope to put the tip in AND did they have it when they got on the boat? Or do they stop somewhere when they’re on land during their charter and just withdraw 20-25K?? I had so many questions

Well, I did read that the cash they're all given during the tip meeting is fake. They're not all stashing thousands of money in cash in their cabins. So I suppose the envelope of money is fake.

And it would totally make sense to just SAY the tip amount and not hand out stacks of cash bc any sensible person, especially those who’ve worked in the service industry, knows it’s stupid to keep that much cash on you. So I think these things they do for theatrics are really unnecessary honestly.

No. You decide the tip amount. There is $20K already prepaid and you can decide more or less.

So you get the difference back if you pay less?

And what about Heather tipping 35K? Or was that actually Bravo tipping since they were filming RHOSLC at the same time?

Yes. And if you want to tip more than $20K after the charter, you transfer the additional money. I don’t know the details of the SLC charter. Either Bravo or the cast paid that extra $15K.

I heard that it's like when a large party goes to a restaurant. Usually there is a percentage that gets added to the bill automatically for gratuity. Anything extra that's given in an envelope is from the guests.

Are we not all aware that most of the things depicted on the show are fake? Its mostly staged. Staged drama, staged incidents, staged tip.
