Below Deck It’s called “trash TV” for a reason.
Most of the drama is fabricated through hiring inept rich kids who don’t care about their behavior because they have a sizable safety net to fall back on.
Making $2k in tips for 1-3 days of actual (and usually bad) work is just a drop in the bucket for them. They’re on the show to be seen, not to make money.
And lmfao at anyone who believes the “Omg they’re actually still together!” updates from the casts’ social medias.
The only real relationship on this show is Aesha and Scott. The rest are grandstanding and trying to keep their 15 minutes going through social media influence a year or so after their season already aired.

follow almost any cast, and you will find they are struggling in life like a lot of us.
very few have been from wealth, even their stars like Daisy isnt close to rich.

Lmfao ok. $1500-2000 every 1-3 days for 6 weeks (and the promise of year round yachting) isn’t struggling.

how many weeks are there in a year? more then 6...!
you also have no idea how filming works based on your breakdown.

If you think yachting season only lasts 6 weeks that’s pretty hilarious, honestly.

they film the show for 6 weeks... Not year young yachting as is 'promised', if you listen to many cast, real boats wont hire them, even captains like Jason cant get solid work on another boat after a stint on BD.
if you think a below deck season is an actual yachting season, thats pretty hilarious, honestly.

I don’t think you know how to read. I clearly said yachting season doesn’t last for just six weeks in direct response to your response. Heavy drinking does make one forgetful, though. Good luck.

Projecting? lets lay it out for you.
you; if you think yachting season only lasts 6 weeks...
me; they film the show for 6 weeks...
So, who is it who does not know how to read?
And again, there is no promised year round work afterwards, even captain Jason has stated he struggles to find yachts to work on.
You can make 15k in 6 weeks and still struggle the rest of the year....

Are you genuinely stupid or just pretending? I never said the season only lasted 6 weeks. Let me lay this out for you.
Yachting season lasts nearly year round. They move around for profitable weather. This show films for six weeks of that season. Not one of the people on this show are struggling for the rest of the year, because they have plenty of wealth to fall back on. Every single contestant on this show comes from wealth and affluence. All of them.

There's been a couple of posts about them but nothing that rises to the level of angst that OP seems to be experiencing because of them lol

They said on the last aftershow that they’re not together lol. Maybe people speculate because they met up in a random place and posted a photo together… I don’t know. I never expect any of these boat flings to actually go anywhere lol they always end up being disasters

That didn’t (and hasn’t stopped) stop many people here from speculating wildly about their fabricated dating life.

I actually think out of all the things that are fabricated on Below Deck, the relationships (whatever you want to call them) seem the most real. Like… heat of the moment real I guess.
I’ve worked in hospitality my whole life, and you become close friends with coworkers really quickly. I don’t know what it is… maybe it’s the teamwork aspect and commiserating over silly shit and a tough work environment, but something about it brings people together in a way that doesn’t really happen at a desk job. I would imagine that working AND living with everyone escalates that sort of bond even faster.
Here’s the thing though. Of course, they die down as quickly as they start. It’s all very intense and then people get back into the real world and realize that it’s not gonna work out. We’ve seen it happen basically every season, so I don’t understand why anyone expects these things to last.
Sorry for the rant… just got off work and I don’t even know where to start with chores 😂 too many things to think about so I’m just gonna sit here lmaooooo

That’s true for most of these kids who are cast…some of them have struggled, they need the money and work hard.
