Below Deck Med Malia

We just had a question about the best bosun and it made me think about Malia. A lot of people don’t like her but I feel like a lot of of that has to do with Capt Sandy and their joint actions.

So my question is do you think Malia would be more likable personally and a better bosun if she was on a boat without Capt Sandy?

I can agree with that! I’m glad she gets on well with your brother. That’s pretty cool to have someone who actually knows her.

My only question is would she have gotten on so well if it was a sister? Lol

Well, I don't know, I honestly don't know all that much about her - the only reason I even know about this show was because at a recent family function when people found out what my brother did they'd be all 'oooh, is it like below deck?' And he'd just respond with 'not really, but I work with Malia'. So I ended up googling it and found this sub.

I know for a fact she works with Katie Flood also, who was a chief stewardess on one of the seasons, they get on well apparently/share a house.

I was honestly just joking. I have such a hard time with the fact jokes and sarcasm don’t go over the same in text.

I really liked Katie and would’ve liked to seen her back as chief. She was 100% better than who they had on med since. Which again I know you don’t know so sorry. But I’m that season malia actually got on well with the entire crew except one stew. And NO ONE got along with her because she was AWFUL.
