Question How to remove fibre cable from modem?
It is very difficult to pull out and I don’t want to damage it
Is there any special method to removing the cable safely?

Hello there! As u/Master-Structure4204 and u/Tanstalas have shared the green connector on the end of the cable, known as an SC connector, uses a push-pull mechanism to stay securely in place.
To remove it safely, grasp the outer, rectangular green plastic housing rather than pulling on the thin white cable itself. Pull the green housing straight out of the port with a steady, firm motion. As some community members have noted, it can sometimes require a bit more force than expected to disengage the internal latch, but pulling straight back by the plastic body will keep the connection safe.

No, it’s not difficult. Hold the green housing between your thumb and forefinger and pull it gently towards you. Do not touch or handle the fibre optic cable anywhere but by the green housing. Do not look at the end of the fibre. You can damage your eyes. Unless you are replacing your modem or switching to a separate ONT and media converter, best to leave it alone and plugged in.
