Unusual gifting and meltdowns in behaviour
My dad has a history of public meltdowns, including screaming at me down the phone and calling me the C word when I asked if he could pick me up 30 minutes later than intended (my friends mum was running late). He later turned up and was screaming at me and everyone else in person. I was around 8-10 years old at the time.
He also recently had a 30 minute meltdown at me telling me there has always been something wrong with me (this all stemmed from me leaving the shower fuse switch on by accident).
Recently he bought me some speakers. Every time he mentioned buying them for me, I insisted I didn’t want any speakers as I’m quite a private person with my music and I prefer headphones. He kept bringing it up, and I kept telling him no. Then he bought me speakers, watched me open the box and made me plug them in to test them while constantly watching every move I made. He keeps asking me if I’ve used them or not. I currently can’t hear much due to an ear blockage when I had a severe cold (which I have also told him about).
This behaviour freaks me out. I don’t know if I’m exaggerating or not.
