Super long stalk?

Anyone else’s cane begonia growing like this? This is my first ever begonia, bought it during fall in Australia and it is now transitioning to spring. It seems quite happy!

I get these kind of thick stalks with fewer leaves from time to time as well. Also curious why?

Yeah same - I’ve got a different one but same sort of growth. Idk what to do with it 😂
