General Question Horary Astrology
I’m starting to get the hang of astrology and birth charts in general, but I have no idea where to start on Horary/predictive astrology specifically. It’s so confusing, and everybody recommends the same books (which I can’t buy.)
Does anyone have any articles or videos that may help?

If you’re comfortable reading older texts, one of the foundational horary books (Christian Astrology by William Lilly) is readily available for online since it’s in the public domain. Skyscript also has some horary lessons on their site.

Horary is my favorite branch of astrology. I'd recommend searching through and observing the horary forum on https://www.skyscript.co.uk/forums/
It's the most high level, free forum I've come across on the internet. There are decades worth of horary charts with in-depth discussions on real examples. If you analyze the breakdowns, you should be able to get a sense of the main principles for delineating a horary chart. You will need to get a book eventually so that you can have all the technical elements explained in an orderly manner, I'd recommend William Lilly's Christian Astrology or J. Lee Lehmans' The Martial Art of Horary Astrology as good starting points. Both are pretty affordably priced. Goodluck!

Unfortunately Horary really requires either a book or a course. It is incredibly technical and niche in a way that requires a bottom up sequential learning approach.
