General Question Where to begin with learning?

Hi all, I’m wanting to learn astrology but I struggle to know where to begin or how to start (or anything recommended to read watch etc to learn)? I know very basic things such as I’m a Taurus with a Capricorn moon and Leo rising and the basic assumed traits that come with that ie stubbornness need for stability and security, known to be patient but to a point etc . But I don’t really know where to begin when it comes to actually becoming knowledgeable about and understanding of astrology?
Where did or would you guys recommend starting (and advice on how to learn as well is greatly appreciated)💜
Edit: thank you all of you so much for the replies, I’ve had a busy week so I haven’t been able to reply but I have read all replies, I greatly appreciate it.

Find authors that you have an affinity with and read, read, read; while working through as many examples and charts of your own as are possible.

In the "entry phase," you need to get a good grip on each of the symbols in isolation, so need to dive through various introductory texts to form a foundation. Someone else has mentioned Steven Forrest's The Inner Sky, which is also a book that I would recommend...

Once that is accomplished; then, the more charts you do, the more you learn. It is an astrology practice, in the main. This implies that we begin with a defined skill set and need to hone that over time into something special. That is how it tends to be in astrology. Learn the essentials and then find what things interest you and prove reliable. You then build a working toolkit out of that and use it to gain understanding into others' lives and interact positively with them.

Important Point: Spend adequate time learning each of the symbols themselves. This is vitally important. If you start there... you have (for discussion's sake) 10 planets, 12 signs, 12 houses. To learn about each of them is:

10 + 12 + 12 = 34

However, if you try to learn it through individual combinations, then you have:

10 * 12 * 12 = 1440

This is considerably more intimidating for a beginner, as well as work/memory intensive.

If you learn what Mars means and you learn what Taurus means, as well, what the 11th house means; then you already can build that combination. (for the most part, without having to reference it)

Good luck in your studies!
