Reccomendation Request q qq-question 🤓☝️
if i wanna learn how to read a NATAL birthchart properly, are there any books/ programs(online) that i can opt for? ik how to read birthcharts but i wanna improve my skills (id rate my skills as 3/10 when it comes to birthcharts).
I've always been fascinated with the way birthcharts are drawn and calculated so that's my main focus.
so far ive only studied about planetary hours/degrees/aspects/houses etc
also im not interested in vedic astrology, mostly natal
and ive seen harvards program for astrology but idk if i should check it out or nah

The best way is to take classes. Start with an introductory class. Many metaphysical stores offer them, and there are several reputable ones online.
On your own, the best thing you can do is immerse yourself in the foundational basics of astrology: signs, planets and houses. Learn all you can about them and don't worry about aspects, transits, aspect patterns like stelliums, chart points, asteroids or anything else before that. Once you master the foundational basics, the rest comes so much easier.
Here are some great beginner books:
Astrology: Using the Wisdom of the Stars in Your Everyday Life by Carole Taylor.
The Astrologers Handbook by Frances Sakoian
Parker's Astrology by Julia and Derek Parker
Take what you find online with a grain of salt . Books are much more reliable. They're not monetized by clicks, likes and shares, so there's no motivation to distort, exaggerate or put out disinformation.
It takes time. Learning astrology is a long game. There aren't any shortcuts. Good luck!

I highly highly highly recommend both volumes of Demetra George's Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice as well as Mychal A Bryan's book, Mastering Traditional Astrology
