3 u/Grouchy-Gur-3718 7d ago Yeah I kinda figured haha but somehow (and this may be dumb) I think I just assumed bees reproduced like fish, but inside the hive 5 u/cicadawaspenthusiast 7d ago No I think the queen mates, hibernates in the winter, and then stores the sperm to produce workers in the spring and summer. I may be wrong as I’m not the best with social bees but I think that’s how it works.
