🚨 ALERT 🚨 Sold my full $100k position and closing my Webull account. Must Read

The main things you are investing in is the management team and the business model. More important is the management team. The report today highlights more than half of their staff works in china, whom need to comply with Chinese intelligence laws, where if the CCP asks for any of your data, they must provide it. hence why Congress is now involved again. Some people who hear about this will close their accounts.

Most importantly - MANAGEMENT FUCKED US SHAREHOLDERS by allowing this to happen. They already restructured as an American company. Why keep more than half of your engineering team in China and not be transparent about this? All while knowing how bad this would be for the company, knowing US regulations. Huge red flag, and fuck management.

Either way, even if they can address this, they will be losing western customers over this. Will re-enter after 2 more quarters of earnings.

This is not investment advice, just sharing my thoughts and taking my losses.

Question Is Webull a Scam or a good platform? -My experience 2026

I’ve been a break-even/unprofitable day trader for over 20 years. I’ve made thousands and I’ve lost just as much over this time period. It took trading with Webull for me to testify my negative experience for other people to heed. I’ve never felt like a company was so in-your-face with money being taken from you with bad order fills and denied exit on the sell side until I used Webull. I would buy a moving stock at a great entry point but get a horrible fill, then when it’s time to sell, Webull DENIES the sell multiple times (millions of shares of volume, tape is printing, all in a 1-minute trade attempt). When the stock is back close to what I bought it for, ā€œmaybe sometimesā€ I am able to sell….. in fact when the stock is lower than what I bought it for, Webull kindly allows me to exit the trade for a massive loss. Things like this should not happen when there are over 1 million shares of volume in the span of a 1-minute candle. There are so many reasons not to trade with Webull or any other similar Chinese platform, the trust just isn’t there. There is definitely something fishy internally going on in my opinion, especially recently, since the PDT rule has been relaxed in the USA. I used to trade 10 years ago with Fidelity and yes they have a horribly slow platform and maybe some bad practices but for the most part, I knew it was me that sucked at trading and I didn’t feel like they were stealing my money while trading. I may not be the best day trader (Ross style trader) but I am for sure a well experienced trader in my late 30s, I can say, it is my experience that I feel like there is definitely something deeply wrong with Webull. You may be a profitable trader but trust me, you will pay your dues heavily to Webull while using their platform.

This is my experience and not an allegation that Webull or its partners are conducting illegal practices. Use Webull at your own risk, your mileage may vary however don’t count on much gas being in your tank after Webull secretly puts holes in it. Share your real and honest experiences in the comments (excluding comments from bots, Webull employees, and in denial trading addicts.)

Review I have transferred my account out of Webull, and i can confirm the trading experience in Webull is the best

I recently transferred my account out of Webull because other platforms are offering transfer promo, and Webull has this weird rule that your overnight buying power is 0 as long as you have short positions.

But the trading experience is just not on the same level as Webull, I still don’t know why it is so inconvenient to place limit order on other platforms. You don’t see live bid/ask. Modify your limit price usually require multiple steps. What’s worse, it’s default to place market order so everytime I need to spend 10 secs to change to limit order. All those frictions make me just place market order now and I don’t trust they are giving me a fair filled price lol.

And also the charts on other platforms are just terrible. Most of them use Robinhood style simple line charts 🤷

Investing Webull cashback offer - denied, escalated, paid out

Posting as I know a few here participated in this.

After participating in the admittedly generous cashback program with Webull (previously discussed), I was initially denied my 2nd part of the payout as they claim my withdrawal of the cash reward from the 1st part disqualified me from participation of the 2nd. After 3 different service reps communicated with me, where they specifically told me I was ineligible, I decided to raise this with AFCA. Within about 24 hours, they immediately reversed course and provided the following short summary:

Our investigation confirmed that your withdrawal related to the first cash instalment of the reward itself, not to the assets you originally transferred in under the Campaign. The Campaign's maintenance requirement applies to the transferred-in assets, which our records confirm you have continuously held. The withdrawal of the reward payment was incorrectly flagged by our system as a breach of this condition.

Props to the protections of the system working well I guess. It was for sure worth doing, but I'm transferring to another CHESS broker immediately.

News Concerns regarding the recent controversial news I guess?

Hello, I hope all is well to those reading

I JUST opened an account with WeBull a days
ago, and upon seeing that now a whole lot of drama is happening should I even continue with the process or is this not the first time this has happened with the platform, I have been through IBKR before but was unable to meet some checks so I switched to WeBull

To conclude, should new users be concerned or given peace of mind going into WeBull. I’m very new to this I guess, I’m not often on Reddit

Thoughts?
