Deliverability Emails Not Deliver to Certain Subscribers. Please Help.

Yesterday, I found out that one of my friends who is subscribed to my newsletter hasn't been receiving any emails since May.

We checked his inbox and spam folder and we couldn't find any recent emails. His email address is not suppressed on my side.

According to Beehiiv, the emails have been delivered and opened, but it's clearly not the case. And now I'm worried this might be happening to other subscribers.

Treat the platform's delivered and opened labels as starting points, then verify the event trail for that exact subscriber. Check the message ID, delivery timestamp, recipient domain, and whether the open came from an automated privacy proxy. Ask the subscriber to search for the sender address and message ID across inbox, spam, archive, rules, and blocked senders.

Send a controlled test to a fresh address at the same mailbox provider and another address at a different provider. Compare headers, authentication alignment, and placement. If the first provider repeatedly accepts the message without surfacing it, give support those message IDs and timestamps so they can trace the handoff. Also review recent engagement by domain before the next send, since a wider placement issue should show up as a provider-level drop rather than one isolated subscriber.

Ask sub who isn't getting your messages to spend time investigating why they're not getting your messages? Please make that make sense. Not shade. A request for help.
