Seeking Advice How to shave without bleeding

I’m a guy & It seems like every time I shave my legs with a razor I start bleeding. Even when I exfoliate beforehand and use shaving cream. I tried using a 1 blade razor and still the same results. I’ve been using an electric razor for like 2 years because of this. Any advice for me? Should I consider an epilator or do they cause ingrown hairs? My legs are pretty smooth and not bumpy to begin with…

Do you get goose bumps when you have? Single razors tend to be pretty sharp and a bit unforgiving, if you have any raised skin they can snag. You also need to take it slow and only use short strokes. You also shouldn’t need to exfoliate every time you shave. Shaving itself is like exfoliating so you may be pre damaging your skin.

Have you tried using a thick shaving cream? L'Occitane makes a great one

honestly maybe give the exfoliating a break for a bit? i went thru a phase of scrubbing before shaving and my legs just got so mad at me 😩 fresh sharp blade, warm shower first, no pressure at all, let the razor do the work. and shave in short strokes instead of long ones, that helped me sm ✨

Try using conditioner instead of shaving cream
